DO NOT GO TO LANSDALE MONROE MUFFLER!!! I took my car there for a loud muffler, they called me and said they could WELD my muffler because that was the repair for this issue. I had it welded 8 months prior. I was told this would repair it, but next time the entire muffler system would need to be replaced. I was fine with either fix, weld or replacement, whatever as long as properly repaired! The day I picked it up there was an AWFUL smell I called and was told by the store manager that wasn't from the repair, to see if it got better over time. I DIDN'T. I took it back Friday as it starting blowing BLACK SOOT inside my vehicle from the heater. It was making me sick. I had a headache and nausea. Can't run my heater or safely drive it. THE MANAGER SAID IF YOU DROVE IT HERE IT'S DRIVABLE!! I was shocked, he tried saying it didn't smell when we gave it to you, but right off the lot, it did! Long story short, I was told no lights (check engine), no problem and then refused to drive it to see the issue or smell the exhaust. I had to call corporate and take the car to another Lansdale shop! Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere like Mr. Tire, down the street. They are NOT PROFESSIONALS THERE! 12/8/25 Update Took it to Mr. Tire in Lansdale. It was indeed an error on the shops behalf! John at Mr. Tire was wonderful and professional. HE explained the error in detail and also showed me how the repair was completed. I not only would have been okay with Monroe correcting the error they made, but would have been nice had they treated me with respect! The mechanic Mike was fine, BUT THAT STORE MANAGER was out right NASTY! He basically accused me of doing something to the vehicle and both of them refused to drive the car to acknowledge the smell that was present. John was great and efficient and my car is finally back to running good and NO SMELLS DETECTED. IN the end I was happy to have gotten the treatment WE ALL DESERVE and found a new shop to take my vehicles!!

Had a wonderful experience! I needed a new battery and to have it replaced. I made an appointment for the day. I was greeted and checked in by the friendliest gentleman ever. We talked about what was needed and my car was in the bay in no time. Without being intrusive, the gentlemen and I chatted for 30 minutes and my car was ready to go! The other gentleman that was working on my car was very pleasant and really knew what he was talking about. I will recommend Monro to anyone whose car needs attention. Not only because of the ease of scheduling and prompt service but, most importantly, everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!!
