They were absolutely awesome. Car broke down on 81, they were there in 15 minutes. Everyone I spoke with including the tow truck driver were professional and extremely helpful. Couldn't have asked for faster, better or more helpful service.

This is a lengthy but honest review that is worth reading. Our experience demonstrates how unscrupulous Auto Towing is. I really wish I was writing a positive review however I'm in shock over the tactics and deceit this company has taken to get money. My son struck a deer early in the morning (3:00am) and the Trooper investigating the accident stated we needed to get the car off I-64 as he would not allow us to wait for the tow we requested via our roadside assistance provider. The trooper said, "he had a guy" and that's when our headaches started. The tow truck driver showed up and immediately hooked up the car without talking to my son. The driver pulled away leaving my son roadside on I-64 at 3:30 in the morning in below freezing temperatures! No paperwork, no communication on company name, phone number, email, etc. My son called 911 to get the Trooper to come back and get a ride to somewhere nearby. The Trooper had the tow truck driver come back who demanded $500 roadside in order to take my son 1.2 miles to a 7-11. When we refused to pay the $500, the tow truck driver tried to leave but the Trooper stopped him. Eventually the tow driver gave my son a short 1.2 mile ride. Next, the tow truck driver refused to give us paperwork that he had taken possession of the car. At first, he gave us a blank work order with literally nothing on it. We had to argue and demand that we date, time, VIN, vehicle description, etc. be documented, as well as his signature. Next, our insurance company informed us that for 10 days this tow company would not return their calls to pick up the car from storage and take it to the repair shop. When insurance finally reached Auto Towing, they demanded over $2700 in storage fees or else they would not release the car! In reading multiple reviews, I see a pattern where law enforcement calls for this specific tow company and then they end up charging exorbitant tow and storage fees. I'm convinced that the Trooper we had is in on it and there's a pattern of corruption.
