I purchased a battery from Batteries Plus located on Eisenhower in Springfield. After installing the battery in my truck, I began to notice irregular performance. Despite using the battery regularly, it failed much sooner than expected. When the battery stopped working, I returned to the store to have it checked. The employee who assisted me, named Omar, tested the battery and found that it was only producing 6 volts. The battery was still under warranty period, but the store refused to honor it. Omar explained that according to their policy, the battery must still read 12 volts in order to qualify for a replacement. This reasoning did not make sense to me, because a failing battery by definition will not hold a full charge. It felt as though I had been sold a defective battery from the beginning, and the store chose to avoid responsibility by using a technicality. The employee’s attitude was unfriendly, and the experience left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I do not recommend this store to anyone. In my opinion, the staff does not honor their warranties and may look for loopholes to avoid helping customers. If you are going to spend good money on a battery, I strongly suggest choosing a larger or more reputable store that will stand by its products and provide better customer service. ——————————————————————- I am writing this as a follow-up to my original review above of Batteries Plus on Eisenhower in Springfield. After I posted my concerns above, someone from the company responded and provided an email address and phone number, stating they would assist with the issue. I appreciated the gesture and reached out twice through the contact information they provided. However, I have not received any response. No one has followed up, and there has been no communication since my initial outreach. At this point, it feels as though the public reply was intended only to address the review rather than to resolve the problem. I am still open to a solution, but I do not want to return to the store and repeat the same experience. I ask that someone who is truly able to help at least reply to my email. Thank you.

Very disappointed with the Battery Plus location in Springfield, VA. The store did not open on time, and there were four customers (including myself) waiting outside well past the posted opening hours. No explanation, no update, and no respect for customers’ time. Extremely unprofessional. If you value punctuality and good service, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Website indicated that batteries were in stock SLI8DAFT I ordered 2 and completed the sale with a credit card online.. 3 hours later I get a call that they are not available until maybe next week.
