Had to stop at this store far away from my local store in Eagle River while on a trip to Madison and back Monday. Picked up something on the highway in the LR tire and was losing air. Had stopped a couple times to air it up but decided to see if it was able to be plugged so we could keep our otherwise indestructible 2005 Lincoln Town Car on the road without having to keep stopping. Found a tire plug kit on isle three after I asked the big fellow with back reflective lenses where I could find one. Also purchased a decent needle nose pliers to extract whatever was in the tire. Turned out to be a gigantic 16 penny framing nail. Went over to KT with free air and performed the tire plugging procedure. Worked great for several miles until it began leaking from a different spot on our way back. This time it was the sidewall, probably from driving on it under inflated. Took the tire right off and shoved a plug in the sidewall of the same tire, a Michelin Defender. Had bought them new in 2017 and the car hasn't been driven much so they were still in great shape. That repair lasted several more miles until the tire simply gave up and had to put the space saver spare on for the rest of the way back. Would've used a full size spare but it was already on the RR. They were the only auto parts store anywhere near where we were when we stopped to get gas and breakfast.

I was stranded last week - my car had died at the airport after being gone on a long trip. The starter had an issue that took the battery with it. Matt, the store manager, went way out of his way to help me get the car running and back on the road again! He made phone calls and got parts, he connected me with an excellent tow company, and scored a starter from someone he's knows, and within a few hours, I was happily on my way.
