Passing through Platteville we had trouble with our truck dieing and called Rip's. The truck restarted and we didn't get a tow but Derrick was extremely friendly and helpful in getting us going. Love small town people. Would highly recommend this business.

What was supposed to be a enjoyable holiday weekend at our lakehouse,wife, 7 yr old son and myself (2hrs from home)turned into a nightmare when my truck blew a power steering pump..after calling multiple towing companies and getting blown off or absolutely ridiculous rates,I came across Rips Towing..without any hesitation what so ever,Derrick had my truck loaded on his flatbed.Derrick had my truck fixed the next day,but he informed me of a major problem with the front end steering components, sent me a video and told me the truck was not safe to drive. Me being a mechanic years ago thought he was trying to upsell me ,but that was definitely not the case. My truck was not safe to drive. Derrick could of very well stopped what could of been and terrible accident with my family in truck. Derrick put everything on the back burner and i mean everything,worked crazy hours thru the holiday weekend and the next 4 days to get my truck fixed as soon as possible, knowing I needed to get back home. If there was higher than a 5 star rating I would go higher. Young kid really knows what he is talking about . I have had several other problems and will only take truck to Rips towing even though it is 2 hours from my house.When a great service is found now a days ,distance doesn't matter. 10 star rating ********** Todd Kudlacik Rockford Illinois

My mother's SUV was dead in her garage, my father passed away 2 years ago. I was lost what to do as I've never did car repairs. I contacted them as it was recommended to me, I myself live in Illinois so I had no idea who could help. I knew it was a battery but that was it. I called Derek was the one who said he could help, sent the VIN number and the address about an hour later he showed up with battery and replaced it, took old one, reset computer. Was kind about everything, especially my 83 year old mom. I'd recommend them to everyone. Price wasn't bad as he brought the battery and replaced it. Well worth the money to not have to worry about mom.
