This wasn’t my first experience with Transworks, I’ve had a couple transmissions serviced here. Both times were my collector trucks over 20 years old, both left there in fabulous condition with trani’s performing as good as new! I will always take my transmission needs to them, I feel it’s a service center I can trust.

I had transmission issues at the beginning of July. I took my truck here and asked for a diagnostic. They told me the transmission needed to be replaced, so based on what they said I told them to go ahead and replace it. When I picked it up I asked what was wrong with the old transmission and he said they didn’t complete a diagnostic, so they didn’t know. That was the first issue. I spent over $5000 to replace it and they didn’t even preform a diagnosis to verify if the old one was shot or not. After picking it up I noticed the new transmission was shifting hard in 3 of the gears. I called and he told me to just keep driving it and it will work its self out. 10,000 miles later it is still shifting hard. That’s the second issue. About a week ago I couldn’t start my truck. When I would try it would just spin the starter like the Bendix wasn’t engaging. I crawled under their and found out that the starter bolts were not tightened properly, causing the starter to back off from the flywheel. This was the third issue. I tightened the bolts up and now it starts as it should. This place used to be a trustworthy place to go, but now under the new ownership, I wouldn’t recommend anyone goes here.

Transmission Works performed rear differential work on my Trans Am. They did an awesome job and exceeded my expectations and the car is working perfectly. I would recommend them for any driveline service!
