My son took his car there for an inspection. Ike called saying he needs some lights changed and a ball joint. Wanted to charge $300 for inspection, back up light bulb and right lower ball joint. We declined to have repairs done as my son is a high school student and doesn’t have $300, so my husband was going to buy the $4 light bulb and $25 ball joint and fix it himself. Ike then calls my teenage son again after I told him he would pick up the car and we didn’t want repairs done there. He told my son he owes $41.95 when he picks up the car. My son had him call me as he didn’t have $41.95. I explained to Ike no one authorized him to charge us $4.40 for the light bulb and $15.00 to install it. We did not authorize them services. We brought the car in for an inspection and declined his repairs. If he wanted to put the old bulbs back in that’s fine as I was not paying almost $20 to change a bulb. Ike then hung the phone up and began mocking me in front of my son who was there picking up the car saying “no one authorized that”. How childish and unprofessional, I would never recommend this garage !!!! Obviously he has a small town mind, why would you bite the hand that feeds you. It may have only been brought in for an inspection but it could have led to future repairs on my vehicles but that won’t be happening now.

I have been going to Ike's service center for over 15 years and never once have I had a issue. Ike is extremely fair in price. The review from Bridgette Sawyer is NOT ACCURATE. She mentions this is a high school student who brought their car for an inspection, but my question is if all the parts we so cheap and they did their own repairs, why would one bring a car for an inspection knowing it will fail. If you look on NYS inspection if your car fails you still have to pay for the inspection. I will continue to bring all 5 of my vehicle to the garage. I recommend Ike's Service Center to anyone that wants a fair price, has been in business for over 30 years, and is a local veteran.

Such a gem in a small town. Appreciate they’re passion in the industry and willingness to get you serviced near closing time or a busy schedule. I’ve always gone here since my first car. Used to go to a dealership in Greenwich where I got my first vehicle. But learned I wasn’t getting the best service.
