Worked with George, Kayla and their team to build a floor to ceiling bookshelf across 2 walls in my bedroom. This had been a dream project of mine for a while and they made the whole process seamless. I’m super thrilled with the results (see pictures, though books aren’t loaded in quite yet!). The team was very collaborative and took time to make sure we got the designs right - we ended up iterating on the lighting choices, the ladder color and material for the railing, and I even noticed a little later in the installation that I would want to have a built in keyboard extension which they were able to accommodate. The installation crew was extremely professional, kind, and the workmanship was top notch. No issues on timing, everything took pretty much exactly as much time as they told me to budget for it. I couldn’t be happier with this project overall and highly recommend working with this group!

We can't recommend UH highly enough!! We had them do two projects- a fairly straight forward built-in wardrobe in our bedroom and a custom laundry cabinet for a very tight, irregular space in a powder room. They knocked both projects out of the park with ingenuity, professionalism, and care- and their installation teams were incredibly respectful and careful when working in our apartment. The laundry closet in particular was something that even stumped other contractors and UH came up with some really elegant design solutions that made it both very nice to look at and supremely functional for our needs. We get SO MANY positive comments on it from guests.

We wanted to maximize the space on the walls of our living room by creating built-ins and adding a fireplace feature. (See first photo which is the “before” photo from the “for sale” listing). We selected Urban Homecraft, and our experience was outstanding. From our first meeting with George and Kayla, the attention to detail was excellent. The contracting experience was seamless as we worked with Casey to sort out the details. We then worked closely with Kayla on the entire design phase of the built-ins. She helped us with the proper sizing, material selection, and helped us ensure we chose the right size for our fireplace insert. Kayla also coordinated with our marble vendor to ensure the stone was properly templated to match the specs of the design. In sum, Kayla is excellent. Finally, the installation team was great. They prepped our apartment to minimize any mess and debris and worked within the parameters of our co-op’s “ house rules.” The installers were incredibly detailed in their work. As you can see from the 3 last photos, the built-ins came out beautifully and add so much to our apartment. 5 stars for Urban Homecraft!
