My husband and I were married at The Mill at Fine Creek in December of 2025 and cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was from start to finish. The venue is beautiful. Lexi was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing! She was super responsive, helpful, friendly and thoughtful throughout every step of planning and the event itself (which wound up being a snowy day that made everything more complex though you wouldn’t have known it by how seamlessly the entire team worked to ensure the evening would still be exactly what we wanted, and well executed). The catering team did a fantastic job with the appetizers and dinner- we received so many compliments on the food and loved it ourselves. Pierre is such a talented pastry chef - our cake and extra treats like seasonal macaroons were all delicious. We also had folks stay in the cottages and join us for a casual rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding at Fine Creek Brewing Company. It was a pleasure to work with every staff member across all of these areas. We all had wonderful experiences and appreciated the personal touches that seemed to be present at every moment over the weekend.

As a wedding vendor, I have to say The Mill at Fine Creek is one of my favorite places to work for so many reasons. The entire staff that I have ever interacted with was so kind and helpful to the whole bridal party/family but also to me as a hair and makeup vendor. The house we got everyone ready in was so beautiful and well maintained and perfectly spacious for beauty services. Plus, the whole property is so stunning and a true hidden gem in Powhatan. Me and my team love every chance we get to work weddings with this awesome venue! Major Bonus will always be grabbing a cup of coffee and fresh pastry in the morning from Fine Creek Provisions right at the front, some of the best pastries locally.
