Unacceptable Treatment – Chase Closed My Account Without Notice!!! I have been a loyal Chase client for many years, but yesterday I was shocked to find out that my business account was closed without any notice or explanation. No one from Chase called, emailed, or contacted me in any way — I only discovered this by going through my mail. This account was opened just over a month ago, and closing it without even informing me is beyond unprofessional. Whoever was responsible for this decision should be held accountable — this type of action is unacceptable and has caused me unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

Mr. Ru Oliver, at my neighborhood bank, the Chase Bank at Sheridan Square, Greenwich Village (204 West 4th), is fine! Knows his stuff. I lost my wallet, was worried about my cards and accounts. Ok, I probably needed a little hand-holding, but I got bank help and good advice. All at the branch are pleasant, have seemed so for years. (Have been with Chase since 1957.) Mr. Oliver was a great help. All has ended well.

I have encountered a very rude teller here. We respect your rules and policy but you don’t need to be rude for you to implement it. You can explain and impose your policy with respect. No need to be told to move because you’re holding up the line without offering a remedy or solution with the transaction being made. I appreciate the bank manager for going out of his way to help.
