I just came from the bank a few minutes ago, they said there was no one available to help because everyone is out for lunch so maybe come back in 40 minutes. What kind of bank has absolutely no human beings unavailable to help in the middle of the day? It's 1:07 PM on a Monday in July... they should not let everyone go on break at the same time if that's the case or they should put a sign that the bank is not accepting clients to help during these hours as people come out of their way (specially in New York City) during the workday to go to the bank. I've lived in nine countries. I've never been somewhere, but the bank has absolutely no human being. Available to help with a simple credit card question.

Last week, I had occasion to visit Chase Bank from Arizona to execute some estate transactions that had to occur in New York. I was greeted by two bank employees, Salwa Anaam and Steve Abreu, who proceeded to set up exactly what I needed. They called me back the following day, and the transaction was completed flawlessly and in a few short moments. I live in Arizona, but if I lived in Manhattan, this bank would be my go-to. Friendly, prompt, and efficient. Bravo! J. Jensen

Really a joke. Went there during my lunch break to close my savings account and transfer the balance to my checking account. After a nice lady at the counter transferred the remaining balance I was told to wait for another banker in a different section to close the account..... Nothing followed.... The place was quiet, virtually nothing going on but the people there were not even able to acknowledge my presence. I tried to make myself seen and asked back at the counter if I had to draw a number or if there was any other trick. Nothing. An employee with the entire back of his shirt untucked as if he just woke up passed me, others were busy looking away. I had to get back to work after spending 20 minutes in this ridiculous joke of a branch for nothing. The only positive was the friendly lady at the counter who frankly should have a higher salary than then rest as none of the others obviously has an idea what service means - at least acknowledge a customer’s presence.
