Was at this branch about an hour ago and came out super unhappy and angry. I went to one of the people sitting in individual booths and the moment I sat down I could feel her unprofessional nasty attitude. Didn’t bother to greet me and when I politely asked her to help us print out a confirmation paper of a transaction on my bank account, she didn’t even wait or listen to what I have to say and said in a very irritating voice that she can’t do it. On top of that she also said a bunch of other unrelated things in a super impatient, nasty and unprofessional attitude. I normally don’t get upset easily as I believe treating others the way you want to be treated is very important, but this employee was super unwilling to do her job professionally. Later when I confronted her about her disgusting behavior her supervisor came over and was of no help. So I went to a different branch and they were able to tend to my needs. What I can say is employees at this branch are very incompetent because this is not the first horrible experience I have at this branch. I would like to know her name and file another complaint with customer service at Cathay Bank. The timestamp of the visit is 5/15/24 sometime between 9:30am-10:00am. The employee sits in the first or second individual booth, nearest to the entrance, on the first floor. I can’t recall the exact time and booth# as my mood was heavily affected by this but I know for sure it happened during this timeframe and either the first or second booth. I believe there weren’t any other customers at the time of the incident so if the owner sees this you will know who this employee is. I feel extremely disrespected as such a simple task could’ve been completed easily but she just wasn’t competent to do it. To others reading this: if you can, please avoid opening a Cathay Bank account as the customer service is not even satisfactory let alone expecting excellency.
