I have always shopped at this store, we live close by and it really would come in handy a lot. They really need to improve some things though. The deli salads are absolutely horrible. Everything is swimming in mayonnaise, under seasoned, no veggies. I can't believe it's store made, If that's the case, they need to hire a cook. The produce section in general is pretty horrible. Why can't they offer more things? Chicken cutlets or some pasta dishes... The fried chicken is really good though, so are the pastries.

Hometown grocery store. They might not have every brand under the Sun, but they do have a nice selection. The deli department is well stocked with fresh products.

I used to love Pecks. But now, the prices are higher and you have to wait longer to pay! Also, and this may seem small, but I think is a big one... I wish the new owners would ditch the idea of making their staff wear those terrible "uniform" collar shirts - this alone appears to have brought the moral of the employees way down (it was evident on day one, in all the stores)... letting people choose what they wear to work matters, it makes a difference.
