Felipe, the manager was absolutely amazing our server was on point drinks stayed full food was out hot, she was friendly and very personable. The food was amazing more than we can get and great quality. We have a very short wait with no reservations!

I visited Carnegie Deli, a well-known establishment in the heart of the city, and I was eager to experience what all the buzz was about. I decided to try the lobster roll along with a side of fries, and while the flavors were delightful, I found the portion sizes to be quite overwhelming. The lobster roll was generously packed with tender, flavorful lobster meat, and the accompanying fries were crispy and well-seasoned. However, despite my best efforts, I couldn't finish my meal due to the sheer size of the portions. One aspect that detracted from my experience was the beverage service. I had ordered a glass of white wine to complement my meal, but the server mistakenly brought me a glass of red instead. This mix-up was disappointing, as I was looking forward to the crispness of white wine to pair with the seafood. While the red wine was decent, it didn’t quite match the culinary experience I had envisioned. In terms of ambiance, Carnegie Deli felt decidedly touristy. The bustling atmosphere and the large number of visitors made it feel less intimate and more like a place designed for quick stops rather than a leisurely dining experience. While I understand that it’s a popular spot for tourists, I prefer dining establishments that offer a more authentic local vibe. Overall, while my meal had its highlights, the combination of the oversized portions, the drink mix-up, and the tourist-heavy environment left me feeling that I wouldn’t choose to return. If you’re seeking a classic deli experience with a twist, you might find some enjoyment here, but for those looking for a more genuine atmosphere, it may be worth exploring other options.

Carnegi Deli on 7th Ave was always my favorite restaurant in New York, so sorry they've closed it years ago. The Madison Square Garden location has the same quality sandwiches and cheesecakes but lacks the magic of the original place. Hope one day they can reopen a new restaurant and place back all the celebrities pictures on the walls.
