Very well maintained: The trail angels left fire starters, cast iron cookware, and more. There's a solid fireplace, a fire pit and a sturdy picnic table. There are two tent platforms, a privy and water pump. NOTE: The water REQUIRES purification.

The Wiley Shelter is a 6 person Appalachian Trail Shelter. A moldering privy is located near the shelter.

We stopped here to rest for lunch but it looked like a great place to spend the night. There are two tent platforms and plenty of level ground for additional tents. Lean-to with fireplace right in front. Water source was contaminated when we were there so be sure to fill up long before your get here.
