This was an unexpected stop after noticing a beach in NYC! No cost! Wouldn't go in the water but a great place to enjoy the sand and sun. Plenty of grass space too. Nice views, picnic tables, and a sprayer to cool off. Pack a cooler or visit the outdoor bar located just outside.

I simply love this place when I visited back in October & November 2023! Such a calm place to just unwind and reflect after a long day or week or life. Glad to have played some pick up soccer a few times as well!

The beach has finally come to Manhattan and it is AWESOME!! Bring your towel and don't plan to swim but enjoy the clean sand, sturdy umbrellas and Adirondack chairs--abd walk a short .25 mile to an amazing food court at Pier 57!! Lucky to be a beach-loving Manhattanite☺️
