Have stopped here many times to fill up my tank & buy a bag of ice...they have the best ice in Mathews. During & after Hurricane Isabel the lines were long to procure a bag of ice...They also carry the local paper & the Hampton newspaper...Ice Cream, soft drinks etc...management runs a tight ship..does not mince words but knows the score...highly recommended. P.S. did I say that their gas prices are usually the lowest in the county?

The person running the store was very rude and borderline racist with the names he used. He called my husband a few names in front of my children. We paid for gas and I pumped it while my husband was changing a fuses so my children would have AC in 90 degree hear, the man was very rude to us because we weren't local. I don't recommend stopping there if your from out of town. This basically ruined our whole morning . A service station can and should be uses to service a vehicle if your a paying customer no matter who has to wait to pump next, because we waited our turn like everyone else. If the man wouldn't have been so rude and disrespectful in front of my children things would have been different.
