Normally I give this place grace because it’s a Family Dollar…you know what you’re doing going there instead of Target. That said, customer service is a lost art here. Their return policy is a joke. You can only make an exchange on items because “they can’t re-sell any open items”. The problem is the curtains I wanted to return was a 2 pack of 2 different lengths. Why would anyone purposefully want that mistake? I tried explaining all of this to the rude standoffish manager who couldn’t care less and looked at me like he was disgusted I would even think to make a return and ruin his day. Lesson learned, Amazon and Target have way better options with less of a hassle. Stay clear of this mess.

Family Dollar lost my business today. I work in the area teaching after school and I came to this location around 4pm to see if they had penny rolls for a science/robotics lesson I was working on. On my way out of the store I was stopped by an employee who asked me if I needed help; I told him what I was looking for and he immediately became confrontational. He did not believe I was telling the truth about my reason for being in the store and assumed that because he had been working there for 3 years and hadn't seen me before that I wasn't actually a paying customer and he could speak to me with disrespect. I've posted a screenshot of some recent transactions at this location, this is not an exhaustive list because I have often paid cash. I frequent stores like these looking for materials for activities or treats for my students. I'll will be shopping at your competitors going forward. In the future, simply saying something like "sorry we don't have that" and not jumping to wild conclusions seems like better business practice.

Disappointed by Lack of Basic Courtesy I stopped by the Family Dollar in Fulton to grab a few quick items and was surprised when I asked to use the restroom and was told it wasn’t available to customers. I understand that some stores have policies in place, but it felt frustrating—especially since I was actively shopping and spending money there. The store itself was clean and had what I needed, but being denied access to a restroom as a paying customer left a bad impression. A little more flexibility or at least a clear explanation would’ve gone a long way. I hope management considers making restrooms available, especially for families or those with urgent needs. It’s a small gesture that makes a big difference in customer experience.
