Absolutely Disgusting Experience — Never Again! I went to Moon Fabrics today, and I was completely appalled. The store is extremely dirty, disorganized, and chaotic. Nothing is labeled or priced — you’re left to guess at everything. There’s zero customer service; the employees seem uninterested and distracted. I handed one roll to an employee to cut, and right as he started, his phone rang — and he answered it, chatting away as if I wasn’t even there. Then I noticed a $4.99 sign downstairs for fabrics. When I went down, three giant rolls were blocking the stairway, which is a safety hazard. I brought a roll upstairs, thinking it was part of the sale, and the owner tells me it’s $20 a yard, even though the sign clearly says $4.99. He completely made up a price on the spot. I decided to leave it and not take it. When I went to pay for another roll, I noticed a roach crawling across the register. I pointed it out, and the employee casually said, “Oh, it’s just an insect.” That was the last straw — I left everything and walked right out. This store rubbed me the wrong way from the start, but seeing that roach and the lack of care or hygiene was absolutely disgusting. I’ll never go back. I went straight to Mood Fabrics afterward and had an amazing experience — clean, organized, friendly, and full of gorgeous fabrics. Avoid Moon Fabrics at all costs!

Very disorganized and rude. It was extremely hard to look through the fabric because they were just thrown onto each other. There was even fabric that was blocking the stairway downstairs. I walked in with the intent to buy something. There was a pile of fabric that I wanted to look through, and it was blocked by a table along with fabric and cardboard tubes on the floor. I made sure to organize the fabric as I was sorting through to prevent making a bigger mess. As I continued looking through the pile, I would move the rolls to the side and made sure it was out of the way. The worker came up to me asking me to not make a mess. I simply told him that I was not, and I was putting everything back where I found it. At that moment, I wanted to leave, but I took it as him being worried, so I stayed. He came back and no less than ten minutes later asking me to not make a mess again. I told him again that no one is making a mess, and I was putting everything back where I found it. At that point I was frustrated because do you not want me to look through the fabric? I genuinely wanted to buy something, but he wouldn't even let me look through the options. I walked out with my time being wasted. If I could give this store zero stars, I would.

Tried to ask the employee for help on 9/21 afternoon to discover them with their pants down, while customers were in the store and a large group of children was directly outside. Completely unacceptable and disgusting, would never go anywhere near here again.
