About 3 miles of hiking, with some eel-guided signage, a reconstructed rail fence, and a few cannon pieces. Not as much signage as present at Cold Harbor, so I hope they add some more. The parking lot is roughly the Union positions uphill from the creek, and you can take a long walk away along the Confederate advance, seeing the Texas monument; however, the field it turns into did not have any markers whatsoever that I could find, apart from a few numbered posts. Wish there had been more information to be had.

Love this place! So much history and loved that it was self guided. A much needed experience for all in order to appreciate our history's sacrifices from so many families.

This is a self guided trail. There are placards with descriptions throughout your walk. I recommend bringing bug spray because of slow moving and stagnant water. Tons of mosquitoes in the woods portion of the trail. Very well kept fields and trails
