I went to Burke Rehab in Armonk NY after having a total knee replacement (TKR). I'm not sure how many people out there have had a TKR but believe me it hasn't been that much fun. But, and there is always a but, I was extremely fortunate to get into Burke. The staff there is fantastic, helpful and friendly. I was also very lucky to connect with my Physical Therapist Patrick Delacruz. He is a wonderful person, very professional therapist and very knowledgable about the workings of the human knee. Pat also made a somewhat difficult experience rehabbing my knee a much more pleasant experience. His humor and sensibility helped me through this rehab and actually made it fun to go to PT each week and work out my knee until I reached my goals and am now able to many of the things we really take for granted while our body is performing our daily activities. I want to take this opportunity to thank Pat for all his help and guidance getting me back to normal activity. I will actually miss our sessions with Pat.
