Love this place, just far enough off the grid to keep things quiet and chill. It’s clean and well maintained which I appreciate. They are expanding and trying to create more adult friendly pools. If you haven’t been you’re missing out!

In 2024, we had the opportunity to provide DJ services through Gunnison Valley Entertainment to a couple that got married at Waunita and wow was it an amazing time! They are the small town feel you are looking for and they treat the whole experience as such. You truly feel like you're apart of something special when getting married at Waunita. As a vendor, I loved working with the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed including wifi in the barn where we had our country wedding dance party a little later in the evening :) All was wonderful and can't wait to be back in the future!

Perfect family reunion location. Plenty of cozy rooms, kind and accommodating hosts, awesome hot springs pool and hot tub, incredible scenery, adorable animals, giant kitchen and dining hall, large field for games and gathering, and even a barn with a stage for more gathering. We made great memories and always love our time here!
