Jeremy was very kind and helpful. Helped me find a nice set of wheels and tires at a very reasonable price. I'll definetly come back for my future parts needs. There's a pretty wide variety of cars and trucks (over 500), this is probably the best salvage yard on the shore.

Was once a customer of Seymour’s for 40 yrs until new ownership *Their staffs Communication skills while interacting with clientele on the phone is truly piss poor! Inability to communicate with others while attempting to speak in broken English) Sounds more like gibberish.. *lack of staff answering phones *unbearable hold times *Inability remembering who or what*I once asked about an airbag the salesman returned to the line 13 minutes later quoting a price for a door

Looks like my review disappeared ! So I'll do another one . They are letting feral cats starve on their property . Me and 2 other volunteers who have been feeding the cats for 3 weeks have been told by the owners daughter that we can't feed the cats anymore . I have already trapped 2 of the cats from the junkyard and took them to CCAS. Very inhumane to let them starve, says so much about the owners character . This place is already the biggest eyesore on rt. 40, not sure how feral cats can make it any worse!

They went above and beyond to help me get a salvage car towed. Fast, friendly, and top dollar for my car was paid. I appreciated their time and effort to help me out.

I would not recommend this company!! Very poor customer service! I called because my vehicle was supposed to be picked up but I never received call. Smitty's representative on the phone said they cancelled the pick up and left a message in my phone. I told them I never received a call. I asked for when they could pick up the vehicle. The earliest they could reschedule my pick up was 5 days later even though I asked if they could do it any sooner since my car was in a public parking lot. They proceeded to say they could have picked it up today. But I again said I did not receive a call or message on my phone. The representative then called me a liar. The representative then proceeded to say, "we don't want your car" then hung up the phone. I scheduled my car pick up with another company after this conversation.

Selling old used engines as viable parts!! Engine looked like it was sitting in saltwater on the bottom All bolts rusted. Rust on all brackets and hardware making it impossible to do future maintenance. Was sold as under 70k miles. This engine looked worse than my blown one. Had no trust it wasn’t going to be an issue after 60 day warranty. When I finally was allowed to return it I was forced to pay an excessive shipping and 25percent restocking fee. So they can seek this junk again for 1900 bucks. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO GO. TRY YOUR LOCAL JUNK YARD.

Dropped off and swapped the dumpster on time and as agreed - I would give them 5 stars for that. However, they failed to do the final pickup when called. We had to drive over a flowerbed and through a neighbor's yard to get the car from the garage. The house is for sale now and has been showing with a DUMPSTER IN THE DRIVEWAY! . I called a second time for final pickup, mentioning this was the second call. When I asked that it be picked up ASAP, I was told they would, but, "we have our own schedule". As you may detect, that last comment didn't sit well with me. I can understand they dropped the ball on my first request for pickup and even with the pain it has caused me I was willing to give them a pass. That last comment, though, changed my mind. I doubt that I'll use them again.Service: House & garage cleanouts
