I just want to start by saying this has nothing to do with there auto parts services. I had a UPS drop off at the store and there was a small mix up about the delivery. When I asked about it I was told by a very confrontational man it wasn't there and it wasn't his problem. Fast forward 5 minutes I went back with a proof of delivery that it was signed by an employee named Austin and it was dropped off. Turns out the angry man I just spoken to signed for it. When I questioned him he told me he signed for a package and they never dropped off and it wasn't his problem. At this point I'm upset. He's obviously upset. 100% the most worst experience I've ever had with an employee in any store. Rude, Angry, Defenseive and confrontational for no reason other than I had questions about the delivery. I was on the phone with ups in the parking lot and they had found the package and brought it to me witch I appreciate but that kind of customer service is absolutely uncalled for. I will never shop at the Herkimer location based on this interaction and will definitely not have a package dropped there.

My pickup truck battery died across town and I walked to the store. Told them that I needed a battery and cables and I explained what happened and they offered me a ride back to my truck. I was so thankful. These guys are awesome and I really appreciate the help. Thank you

Awesome customer service! We've been having an ongoing issue with our Jeep, so we brought it to Advance. Matt took the battery out, charged it and go figure, bad battery. He installed the new battery and made sure we were 100% satisfied before he went back in the store. Thanks Matt!

Very helpful staff at this store. I had wiper break yesterday (which had been purchased elsewhere). I went here for some good Trico blades. The broken part was still attached and very difficult to remove, but Matthew helped me out - and it was really cold out, too! He had it fixed up in no time, and just in time for this "snow emergency" we're in now. Good deal!

They knew right what I needed they helped me with the brake lines and got everything that I needed to put the brake lines back in my truck good people to work with you up there you ask them what you looking for show them you have to and they'll help you actually get a better design to put it back together

I often order online and pick up at store, which is very convenient and great way to get coupon discounts. However, once in the bricks and mortar store the guys behind the counter have a very lackluster attitude and are not very friendly or personable. I sometimes go to my higher priced local auto parts store specifically because of this. Upper management needs to have this place mystery shopped.
