Lady in the office was not nice, very unprofessional, and lied. Said $602 was an estimate paid me $450 thats along way from.$602 Very disappointed but glad to get paid for another junk. The guys were great tho. 4 stars for them.

I rather bring my scrap mental here then most places. My dad comes here three to four times a week, once in awhile he feels they shorten him i don't believe it is intentional. Overall pretty good place

As I live in Herkimer and we frequently run derby cars, we great a lot of scrap for the scrap yard. We have brought a few to this location, but if you don't fight for every penny , they play dumb and screw you over... scales are not accurate ( we have actually been weighed on 3 different scales and these ones are always low) For all this and more we choose to drive ANYPLACE other than here. Try Simms Metal (old Crashes Auto parts) Schuyler Also take your Cat Converters, Motors, Alternators and any other corable items to Y & S Auto Marcy for atleast 2x what Doolans pay ! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE IT HAS THE PLAGUE.... BECAUSE IT DOSE !!
