The young men were nice & diligent in diagnosing my car. Once they had the parts, they worked quickly to finish the repairs. I asked for it to be checked over again after repairs as I wanted everything fixed before I picked it up as I rented a car to ensure everything was completed. I was disappointed I had to drive on one of my split days off to Ontario to get my own parts; which required me to keep the rental longer than I had planned. Since picking up my car, one of the issues I mentioned & ask for them to check out is still happening & it looks like now I'm just going to need to take it to the dealer. I didn't want to & would rather spend locally but being a single mother can't afford another 1500 rental to have to pick up my own parts. I was excited as I found this place off a referral but was highly disappointed. They clearly need more people, whether be a receptionist to run interference, another mechanic &/or an on-call parts runner so that customers don't have to drive in the pouring rain w/ thier small children in the car, down the hill to Ontario to pick up thier own parts. Isn't that the whole point in taking it to a repair shop?! I debated writing a review because they were nice & speedy to get it checked out as well as speedy to complete the repairs but the other part really put a bad taste in my mouth. I'd much rather spend locally & keep it in my city but things like this is the exact reason why people dont.

Jim knows his way around the auto repair industry. He is not the typical parts swapper or shadetree tech. He can diagnose many types of vehicles foreign or domestic. The diagnostic tools he uses are not only professional grade, but they are able to work with the vehicle's computers to aid in repair.

They were fast friendly and all around great I would recommend them and I will go back.

I've used Jim for the entire year I've lived in Lucerne valley. He is honest and reliable. I have taken the vehicles of several of my friends to him, he always works those vehicles in quickly. He is going to be my mechanic until he retires!

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. I just got out of the Army and on my way to San Jose to attend college I had the extreme displeasure of having to conduct business with Jim and this shop. Jim is condescending and unprofessional. As evident by his work. My and my husbands truck blew the transmission and unfortunately the closest shop was RedHead Motosport. Our truck was there until August 10, 2018. We were stuck with a $5,600 bill and we only made it 100 miles before the transmission blew again. We now owe $4,500 to have the transmission rebuilt AGAIN.We have contacted the California BAR and asked the owner Jim to help pay for the new job but he is refusing. So now I am in San Jose and since I wasted all my money paying Jim I have no truck as I have no way to pay to have the transmission rebuilt again. If nothing can be resolved court will be the next step. Please do not give this company your business!!!

I would give 0 stars but it is not possible. Avoid this shop at all costs! My truck was in this shop from 3 August to 10 August 2018. I paid $5,600 for a new transmission and after I paid I was able to drive 100 miles to Lancaster CA. In Lancaster my transmission blew again and after getting a tow to a new transmission shop I was informed that the job done at RedHead Motosport was the worst transmission job they had ever seen. I am now being quoted $4,500 to rebuild a transmission that was rebuilt just 100 miles earlier. Now the owner Jim is refusing to pay or help me in any way. I am currently in a nasty dispute with Jim in order to get the new transmission job in Lancaster paid for. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Finally an honest shop that fixed my vehicle and did it right. Only shop I would trust to work on my vehicle. Jim does a great job.

They do really good repair work but sometimes it seems they forget small things very good overall experience though

Had a leaking valve stem. Took care of the problem quickly and didn't charge me anything. Always had great service for other problems as well. Highly recommended.

If you want the job done correctly, Redhead Motor Sports is the place to take your vehicle! They are honest and stand behind their work.
