I called best use auto parts looking for a motor for a 2004 GMC and the customer service was great. They worked with me very digitally to find the right motor, however, was not able to. But in good faith they gave me a full refund and I was satisfied with that. I would recommend them to other's with no problem. Thank you.

I didn't complete order from this retailer and provide reasons and issues encountered:a. ordered vehicle part on Day 1 and called back on Day 2 to tell me the part price was unavailable (due to an error on their end) and replacement part had a price increase by a few many hundred dollar. Bait & Switchb. As my billing and mechanic were in different states - I found it extremely unprofessional their accounting team called my mechanic shop and stated they found my transaction suspicious. My mechanic had nothing to do with my order or required that disruption.c. I wish to give them above 1 star like 1.5 as the rep did communicate even though at times not flexible but was responsive.d. The entire company was unfamiliar with usage of virtual credit card number for online transactions.NOTE - all the reviews with 5* all appear to be coming from users/profiles out of India. I thought this retailer was based in Mercer Island, WA and don't think they are shipping parts international (different cars and configuration) but maybe I'm wrong! Not fact-checked but not sure how authentic all reviews listed below. Google is that legit?

The worst company I have ever done…The worst company I have ever done business with. If I could put zero stars I would do it. After speaking to Roy and giving him the correct info for my vehicle, he still sent me the wrong engine. I called him and told him that the engine code is wrong and it is the wrong engine, his reply was, let’s talk to one of his mechanics. Also the engine that I was quoted on was said to have 120k miles, but the engine that I got had close to 200k miles. His mechanic recommended I install a round port intake onto rectangular top engine intake. AND THIS A MECHANIC?? Roy wanted me to send him pictures because he thought I was lying. I told him to come pick up the engine and get me correct one. He replied that the engine I want will cost an additional $500, even though they have all the correct info. He said the it was because of short on inventory. I told him no, we don’t want it, in fact they should be giving me a discount for waiting for a week and then I would have to wait for another week. Over the next two days 3 different people contacted me trying to convince me to buy the engine. I told then no unless they are willing to do it for $800. I still have to verify if the owner was willing to wait for another week too. At this time Tom told me that I can call him on Monday if the owner is ok with everything and order the engine for $800. When I called Roy, Tom, Alex, John all said the new price is $1500, take it or leave it. I don’t recommend anyone doing business with this company because they tell you one thing and then they lie.
