Bad Idea, Stay Away!!!!!! I had a terrible experience with Bloomfield Auto Wreckers. I purchased an engine from them for $800, only to find out it was missing critical components. My mechanic refused to install it because it was incomplete. When I returned to get a refund, they hit me with a $250 fee, claiming it was a “restocking fee.” At no point did they mention that the engine was being sold in pieces or incomplete. This feels like a scam—selling defective parts and profiting off returns. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere reputable. These criminals don’t charge a delivery fee unless you return the item. Got my partial refund and went to Union Auto wreckers and got a better quality engine for the same price with a 90 day warranty.

i purchased a few parts from this place in he past . It’s old parts but they do give a warrantee and it’s original so i felt comfortable making the purchase, knowing I’ll be reimbursed if the part didnt work. HOWEVER today i called and asked about a throttle body which they had. I purchased it but the guy made sure to tell me it’s sold “as is”. NO RETURNS. i should have read between the lines. I went against my better judgment and purchase the part.. When I got the part installed it didn’t work, not even for a second. I believe he intentionally sold me a bad part knowing it didn’t work and now i cannot return it. I’m out of 75 dollars. lesson learned. i’ll be patient next time and order my parts online. I’ll be very cautious next time

I recently called and visited Bloomfield Auto Wreckers and was thoroughly impressed! I ordered a part for my car, and not even was good quality they actualy got me the exact color, found exactly what I needed at a fraction of the price compared to other places. Rocco, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with me about any concerns, I might had it. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you're looking for a great place to get any parts, I highly recommend checking it out with them.

TERRIBLE customer service. Do not waste your time and money. They are quick to take your money. Promise the product by the next day but take over a week to deliver the wrong product. All the sales men on the phone are rude speaking. I should have looked at all the previous reviews before going there.

Horrible costumer service from rocky , he gives you one price thru phone and once you get there they try to raise the price!! And then saying no one with that name works there !! They try to play you !! Don’t waste your time if money there are many other shops willing to make business

I’ve been an auto shop owner for years and this is the worse salvage yard I’ve encountered. If I could leave zero stars I would. They’re so quick to take the money but make so many excuses to refund it.

Called over the phone for a part. Stated I’m coming in to pick it up. Drove 40 minutes for him to say okay be ready tomorrow. Never did you mention that over the phone. I told him make a deal and take $20 bucks off for the gas and toll i gotta pay to come here AGAIN. He said no. Okay no problem now you get a bad review. Learn to have customer service skills. Just some thugs operating a junk yard.

Called to ask for a price and hung up the phone on me and I called again and I asked again the guy said he raised the price $50 dollars because I asked again and hung up the phone on me again!! I guess they don’t want business nor to help people out!! Don’t shop there!! Rudest people ever!!

Very terrible customer service and the Spanish guy was very RUDE! Came on Wednesday morning and they said they had the parts ready for me by Thursday, when I come back Thursday they said they only had one, and that the other one would be Ready in half hr. I waited around for the half hr they said then the Spanish guy came out saying that by 5pm it would be Ready. Seriously if you have customers try to keep them don't make loose then!! Don't go there without reading reviews! Our biggest mistake ever!

Had a part I needed for an older vehicle. Nowhere to park. It's not very inviting when you come. I'm not sure if they have had issues in the past with robberies or if they are just stand-offish. Part was a bit pricey, $150 for a fender.

Don't even trust this place they lie about the part and color availability they have me driving 5 hours 1 way and 5 hours back and on the phone they confirm the paint color code and when I arrived they change everything and talk in a very bad attitude

Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE. I traveled from Philly to pick up some struts, made my cash deposit on Tuesday. Was told my struts would be available on Thursday. Came back Thursday, they weren’t ready. Got a hotel. Was told to come back Friday. Called Friday, they said one strut was OUT.. & to call back @ 3:30. Stayed in hotel again.. Came Saturday morning, they lied.. none of the struts were taken out of the car. The product wasn’t ready & they had taken a cash deposit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. VERY TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION . I should be reimbursed for my hotel fees as well, they are shameful

Very Bad Service! Why make me pay a deposit for parts that you "supposedly" have and don’t have it ready after ordering it a day before! The Spanish guy is very rude! And the white guy that took my order was ignoring me while I was there! Do not go there or hand them a deposit!

Some top notch guys here, I came in looking for a specific computer for my car, and within a day they had it for me to pick up. Excellent pricing, just finished programming and testing the new computer and it works great. Absolutely no complaints, was an easy in and out process. Plus, everything was quicker, and cheaper than doing it online.

These guys sold me an alternator for a 2013 Honda Civic I put the alternator it did not work right away I had to keep boosting the car for 15 minutes, 40 days after alternator stops working I call the guys they said 30 days of warranty expired there s nothing that they can do they did not even offer a discount on another one, nothing personal agianst the guy who talked to me on phone but he did not do the right thing and that reflects how customer focused they are. I did not want to buy an alternator for a month i wanted a decent inexpensive part but at the end of the day I ll sum it up as a gambling junkyard where you pay cash and carry. Don't expect sympathy or any kind of genuine willingness to help from these guys.

I came there to drop off a tire for a car that I don’t have anymore. I was told that it will cost $3 to dispose of it. Seemed fair since you are providing a service. I pulled out the $3 prepared to pay for it and I asked for a receipt. I was rudely laughed at and told to take the tire and I else where and that they were not going to give me a receipt for it. Idk what transaction people do where they are not allowed to get a receipt but since I am paying cash I want a receipt. I’ll be letting people know not to come here for their rudeness and unwillingness to provide a receipt for even the smallest of transactions. I’m pretty sure they provide receipts for larger transactions but the simple fact that I was given such a rude demeanor for asking for a receipt tells me about the place itself.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. Called for a a part was given a quote and then called back a few days later to make sure they still had it and was given a different quote in the same part. Then was told that I must come to them to give a cash deposit in order for the part to be pulled from the vehicle and would have to wait days for it to be available for pick up. Then midsentence was put on hold. And when they came back onto the phone they claim that the vehicle was sold five minutes ago, when he clearly said they still had it in the system at the beginning of the phone call. I do not recommend this place to anybody. Wouldn’t even bother to call them. Horrible service.
