We came from out of town and unfortunately our car started making a burning smell and putting off a little smoke from under the hood. We were .7 miles from C T Auto and within 30 mins they had us back on the road. Got an oil change before we left and they didn’t put the filter back on all the way. Thankfully no lasting issue. But they wouldn’t even charge me for fixing it, on the fly when we were in a little bit of panic mode 5 hrs from home with car troubles. I at least bought their lunch! I took my car to them for a diagnostic test and an oil change and they charged me for parts without my consent for them to put them in. They also charged me $200 for a blinker fluid change. When I told them that didn't exist they insisted it did and refused to take the charge off. They will scam you if they can get away with it. Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car, so they didn't charge me for their assessment and sent me to the dealer. Turned out it was a recall issue that they could not have known about. Honest and humble. I'm a lifetime customer.

Way beyond honest! They charged far less than they could have, they did did some stuff free when they could’ve charged a small fee for it, plus I left my wallet on accident and not only did they call to let us know about it, but they stayed late (not long but it’s the point) so I could come get it!!!I’d recommend these people 24/7/365

Needed a new starter , car was towed there. They replaced the starter and advised me to call the previous shop that replaced it 3 months earlier. I did and they refunded fully. CT charged me less than the previous shop and I found all there to be friendly, courteous and had my best interest at heart. Also it is an extraordinarily CLEAN business. I would recommend them highly.

We have used CT Auto for towing services twice. We had an excellent experience both times. I cannot speak for their mechanic work. I can only tell you that they were quicker, more professional, and better equipped to handle towing than competitors in the area. I will not use any other towing service in the area, especially after a different towing company damaged my vehicle and refused to take any responsibility. They know what they're doing here and that's what I like.

I called to get a estimate to get my car fixed and they were the rudest people I have ever spoken to right from the start! They guy is a smart a** and is by no means out to help anyone! By the end of the phone call he was cussing and told me to take it to "some other idiot" to mess it up. Even if you know what your doing; you will get no where with the hateful rude customer service! I wouldn't advise a single person to take their vehicles there!

Do NOT I repeat do NOT have any auto repairs done at CT auto in Sylva.I took my car there to have a thermostat replaced out of necessity because no other shops in town could get it done before christmas, and I don't have the tools to do it myself. I provided my OWN part and they try to charge me $155 for a thermostat!!!!! All together it should be around $50-$70 and that is including the price of the part. Do not give them your business unless you want to get taken!!!!
