Disgusting. Unfortunately, that's the most appropriate word to describe the new garbage unloading area back at the tipping floor. I was there a few days ago, and was shocked by the conditions.This place used to be quite pleasant as garbage transfer stations go, as the procedure was to throw your waste from a clean concrete area over a railing into large dumpsters. Sometime in the recent past they have implemented a new procedure where you are directed to unload your garbage on an extremely filthy tipping floor, along with full size garbage trucks dumping. The ground is covered with inch-deep stinky garbage mud that gets all over your vehicle tires and your shoes, getting tracked back into your vehicle. The place is dark, wet, dirty, and could also be very dangerous for anyone not really steady on their feet due to slip, trip, fall hazards of random garbage and mud coating the floor.ICSW, please reverse this decision and return to the former garbage drop off method. At the very least, clean up the tipping floor area! Again, completely disgusting!

As dumps go, how can we complain? Always easy in and out. Great Staff!Recycle spot is easy, too. And today, in the Snow they were Open! Yay!Thanks you guys!

It may be a disposal site.....but you can get rid of everything in one trip. Especially good for oil and household chemicals. Thirteen dollars to buy in and so much a ton. The price is worth the convenience.

Took a pick-up load of 'stuff' here today (non-recyclable items). We'll organized, nice staff.

This place is so organized! They've done an amazing job at making this area efficient and tidy. The workers are so helpful and nice too! One gentleman stopped working to walk over and give me directions and another man stopped driving his tractor and reversed just to answer my recycle question. Amazing people.

The people that work here are awesome and helpful. The recycling area is really busy but if you're organized before you get there you can easily be in and out in minutes. The refuse side rarely has long lines. Before the pandemic you could find gems, like books and crab pots in the thrift stores.

Folks here are friendly and helpful. Easy in and out, great hours. Taken a small uhaul here multiple times.

For a waste refuse center this is the best one I have ever been to . It is clean and organized and doesn't smell nasty. They have different areas for different kind of waste which is nice. Lots of room so it is easy to unload and not much waiting. They also have an area where they sell used items and they have some real bargains. I purchased an old manual typewriter , which are becoming hard to find. Also bought an almost new fertilizer spreader for $5, what a deal.

They run an efficient, tidy operation and all the staff are helpful.
