The staff are friendly and the know there stuff. Respond quickly to calls when they get them. Ken is a great owner and keep a well run shop and clean lobby

I'm very satisfied with the work Kens A1 recently did on my 2002 crewcab F250 turbo diesel. With 418,000 miles on this truck a good mechanic is definitely needed to keep her on the road.. Shes a big heavy duty truck most shops don't have lifts capable of lifting such a heavy & long truck.They had a large wrecker come tow my vehicle since my tie rod snapped, and had the vehicle back to me in less than 48 hours. I was extremely happy when I didn't have any other additional parts or labor on the bill. I asked them to replace a steering component I thought was bad. The mechanic said not only was that part good, so we're the other components I was wprried about (ball-joints & u-joints).With this struggling economy its hard to find a shop thats not trying to squeeze you when they have the opportunity to do so. Kens A1 were honest on their bill and inspected my vehicle for any other possible potential issues.This shop has my trust and my business for the lifeThanks for the great work guys...Update:Took my VW to Kens for some work that nobody else in town knew how to do. Took my car there to have fixed.. they changed the tcm charged me $1100. And didn’t fix the problem… car has been even worse since I brought it them. 3 times and still having the same issues. I wouldn’t go there if I were you! Service: Electrical repair

Excellent Service! I received estimates in Minneapolis (at my car's dealership and an import repair shop) for two repairs my car needed. Both estimates totaled approximately $1200.00+. I was in town, and brought my car to Ken's A-1. My car was repaired for a small fraction of the cost. Also, I got it back the same day. I cannot say enough about the service I received.It was a nice feeling to be dealt with in a professional and honest manner. I will use them again and encourage my friends and family to do the same.

Friendly staff. Had our car in and out in 3 hours. Went for a balance for the kids car and left with many new parts but now it's safer for when she drives in the Minnesota Indy everyday to work!

On a family camping trip up to Tower, and our truck lost all power right outside Hibbing on highway 169, called Ken’s A-1 Auto Service and they sent a tow truck out to get us right away. I've been here a few times in my life to get work done on my vehicles. Always did a great job. If there was a problem that arises after driving my vehicle out that's related to what was fixed by them they were quick to respond to it and fix the problem without charging me. A big plus to Ken's was the loaner cars that was nice, but unfortunately they're not doing that no more which was a big plus. I hope one day guys go back to offering loaners because that was a big perk. Great staff. I recommend this place to anybody.

Ken's A1 is the best around!!! Called for my tow, they were here within 20 mins!! Fixed my van and I was on the road! Great service, super friendly, timely, and very fair, affordable prices!!!
