Upon contacting the owner, Ramin or Ray, I initially found him to be amiable. However, upon visiting the shop, he provided me with a non-functional part. Subsequently, he asserted that the part required coding to my vehicle. Notably, while I had purchased the same part online and it was functioning correctly, he offered me the contact information of another individual name Rode. Furthermore, The guy Rode informed me that he had charged $300 for the coding service, even if the part was not functioning properly. Additionally, he charged $150 regardless of the outcome. Upon informing Ray about this matter, he abruptly ceased responding to my calls. And said he is nit working on Saturdays…This inconsistency raises concerns about his professionalism and reliability.

Wow.. so I just called to ask if they have a part .. been trying to get my car to start for a good minute and have been trouble shooting outside in the cold so I’m a bit frozen at the moment if the call…. I asked if he had the part and instead of looking it up on his computer .. he tells me that I NEED TO GIVE HIM A PART NUMBER!!! I’ve bought parts here for years and I’ve taken and introduced this business to at least 6 or 7 people in the last 2 yrs .. and they have NEVER asked me to call them back with a part number !! So.. I’m calling the next place in Google search results … GOOD JOB .. pushing customers away LONESTAR!!

We ordered a fuel tank from Lonestar for our Toyota Landcruiser. These guys texted me several times including several photos of the target part. They offered me a very fair price that included freight shipping to a nearby pickup point (cost effective option). The part was exactly as pictured and was meticulously packaged to prevent damage to the part. Shipping occurred on the day the order was placed and they were still responsive after the sale. These guys rock and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Try them, you will not be disappointed!

I have been buying auto parts at this junkyard for several years, but I don’t understand what has happened recently, why such an attitude towards customers? First, where did you get these prices from? Do you have panda skin parts? secondly, why has it become such a poor customer focus? Previously, they tried to help, find the right spare part ... .. ok, a lot of words, over the years it only gets worse.

Will be looking to sue them in small claims court for recourse. Kevin and Hector both engaged in fraud. Paid for a part and they shipped a completely different part. They also charged me for a part they never shipped. If you see recent reviews it looks like that's business as usual here.

Earlier this year, Jose was very helpful, and the guy who went with me to search the cars was polite and professional as well. Today (10-12-23), Kevin was the guy to find the exact part needed to fix what was done to my Bimmer. Found 2 different colors, then Jose mentioned there should be a white one (color of my car), and BOOM! It was found and soon after, is mine! 😃 Actually found a possible donor car for same color interior refresh. Excellent! Lonestar Imports seems to have everything I need to get my car fixed up 👍🏻.

First time customer and I came in from out of state. Kevin was excellent to work with! Very detailed and excellent communication with a BMW door and quarter panel I needed. They run a large operation and looked to be very well organized.

People are very rude, basically told my shop helper to get out fo their face when returning a subframe we didn't have to use after being told by one of the employees that we could return it for a store credit. Take it from a reputable automotive business, don't go there!!!

I cannot say enough good things about the guys here at Lone Star Imports. Kevin, Jose, and Ray have always provided our shop with excellent service, fair prices, and a willingness to go the extra step to make sure we receive the right part. What's amazing is that even though they are ridiculously busy there, they'll even put in the time and effort to get us the little, cheap stuff that sometimes is the missing piece in getting a big job shipped. There have been multiple times that I've called mid-morning asking Kevin for some piddly little clip or bolt or something, and even though I think it's gonna get put on the backburner, that afternoon it'll show up at our door, whether I've ordered something expensive with it or not. These guys actually do care about our ability to finish cars on schedule and keep our customers happy. That's rare in the used parts business, and that's why we order from Lone Star almost exclusively. Special props to Victor as well. He's our delivery guy, and when we're trying to find an obscure part, he'll take it back to the warehouse with him and track it down, sometimes even coming back same day with the right part. Found the part I need on carpart called them and they wanted the part number vin number etc…. lol I said idk I just searched on carpart that’s how I found the part headlight ballast it shows the part and picture even on your site dude like no no I need a part number I can’t search . You trying to shut down or make a sale??? Won’t be calling again not helpful read the reviews

Unethical. Called on Monday and was told they had a working computer module for a BMW. Drove 70 miles that day to pay top dollar for the part. Took it to the BMW module company to be programmed for my car. Was told the module was a brick and didn't work. Spent a other day and 85 miles taking it back to get an attitude . Was then told I should have bought a new one and that they don't test their electronics .After they knew it was defective and refunded my money , they put it back on the shelf to sell to someone else. Dishonest is an understatement. Extremely rude and told me they were doing me a favor by refunding my money on a part they intentionally mis represented. I will give you the same advice they gave me, " if you want to buy a good part, buy new". They just dont sell new parts.

Terrible customer service & higher prices than all competitors. I identified myself and my company when I called but I was told "we don't have time for that" when I asked them to verify the part number printed on the part they're selling before purchase. If they treat commercial customers this way I can't imagine how badly they treat the public when they ask normal questions. Plus their quoted price was nearly 50% higher than all of their competitors. Don't bother with this place, apparently they're "too busy" to actually sell any parts.

All I wanted was to know if I had purchased a warranty or if they offered it because the part I purchased from them failed just short two months of buying , they were so rude over the phone treating me like I am supposed to know everything as if I work there, the last comment I got from them was “Well there you go then” and this was my first time buying from them now I know after getting this part replaced to never shop with them again. Customer Service and Customer Retention is everything, They do not value that or treat their customers with any respect .

By far one of the most organized junkyards I have been to. I called for a door to an E350 and upon arrival they honored the price given to me by another agent. I was taken to the back and allowed to choose the door to my liking. A good first experience and will be back for future parts as well.

Had a great experience here. It was easy to handle the business I went for, despite them going about the busy day. They allow you to go see the part before it's picked, for reassurance that you are getting what you asked for. Great place.

I have been recommending this place for years to my customers and friends. This was my go-to place for years to get bmw parts but after the experience I had recently, I will not recommended anyone to this place. I drove 1 hour to get parts from this place and because i didn't want a fog light that they pulled which look to be from the dumpster. Instead of pulling a good decent looking fog light I was told by Ray he didn't want to business with me. Its okay buddy. All those people i sent your way to buy parts and this is how you treat me. No problem. 👍

I called and ask about a part for a 2015 C300 and he told me a price, and I see it on Car-parts for 300, and I told him. This guy said no and he said click and hung up on me. I buy so many car parts from them for my dealership. They lost my business forever. Get rid of that guy because he going to loss you a lot of money. If he did that to me, then I now he done that to others.

So I had a friend call for a Window. Told me it was 500. When I get there the guy I speak to say 500 is too much. I'll charge you 250. I say thank you and sit down. While waiting for my part to come, I witnessed how rude certain staff was. Quick to tell customers they get there money back and leave, they can get it elsewhere etc etc. When my part comes some guy come talking loud asking didn't I tell you 500 on the phone. I stated to him that he had spoken with my friend. Also stated to him that I told the service guy I spoke to the 500 amount I was told by my friend, and he had decided it was to much. I paid what he originally asked, but the loudness and rudeness makes them a 2 star in my book. That only bc that had my part. If I can find a part elsewhere, I definitely will.

So these guys low key stole my normal mechanic’s business 😂 in perticular the guy at the front desk name MICHAEL did. Jose was very helpful as well when I arrived customer service at this place was superb but Michael was the one taking care of me. But anyway I have a 2013 e550 coupe That had a headlight out. Everywhere I went everyone said I needed a new headlight assembly. A mechanic told me to call lone star import for a headlight assembly (which was going to be very pricey) and he would replace it for me. So I call lone star import and ask for the part and not only was Michaels customer service on point but he immediately saved me money saying that the odds of me having to replace the whole thing was slim. Not only was the quote he offered me very reasonable but he also had an even better price for me if I took the headlight off myself and brought it to them. I went ahead and paid them to take it off which was still a great price but these guys had me out of there in about an hour. I immediately called two of my friends who have foreign cars and told them of this AMAZING place. These guys are smart, organized and have the best customer service you will ever receive from a mechanic. I’ve seen some mixed reviews on here about these guys and it’s hard to believe their talking about the same place I went to. You guys were the best !

Careful buying parts from here. Their 90day warranty is for replacement only. They will not refund your money. Also they charge me 3x what the cost of a new part is and I still need to replace it. Highly recommend going to eBay if you can wait a day or two for shipping. Never going here again. Waste of money. Buyer beware.

I've called several times, 4 days in a row. I've been trying to order a Sun visor for a Maserati. Every time I speak with someone to see if they can verify if they have the part and they claim that they will check and call back. Never got one call back. Absolute waste of time and a joke for customer service. Thanks for no help.

I’m generally not one to go out of my way to write reviews, but Lone Star Imports did a hell of a job helping me get what I need all the way to Virginia from Texas. Jose was very helpful, patient, and descriptive over the phone. My part was packaged in what looked to be a custom built wooden crate, had no damage, and arrived on time. I would highly recommend doing business with this place.
