We were able to reserve our CR-V in advance and sign out early, all to help speed up the delivery process. I purchased a car on 2/9/22 and the car appeared to be operating very well. I received a report at the time of purchase that Luther Hopkins Honda did a detailed inspection on the car. However, they did not. As of 2/21/22, my engine light came on and I took my vehicle to another dealership to perform a thorough inspection. I was informed that there were several things that needed to be fixed on the car and I have to pay about $1000.00 to get them fixed. I would recommend that anyone who is thinking about purchasing a used car from this dealership that is not a Honda brand should reconsider.

Luther Hopkins honda has two main strengths, first is that they offer Honda vehicles, second is their Luther dealership culture. This is a big strong Honda dealer located along the new light rail line (now under construction) in Hopkins, Minnesota. I have bought and leased many Honda vehicles here over several decades. We are a wholesale customer of Luther Honda's. We purchase parts from them and have always been happy with their service. However recently we needed help from their Sales and Service Department. I dealt with Bonnie in Sales and she went above and beyond in my opinion. She was great and took time to help and understand what I needed. Buyer beware. This dealership is not trustworthy in my opinion. They just about sold me what appeared to be a great used car. I just happened to notice myself that the entire underbelly of the car was rusted out. Not just spots of rust, covered in rust. Not normal road salt wear and tear. See photo. If this vehicle was properly inspected as they claim, they clearly knew about the rust and are selling the car anyway without disclosing to the customer.

I came in for an oil change, then changed my mind based on their assessment of my tire's wear and alignment. They offered options and also told me they could do the new tire/alignment job that day, but it would mean I would have to wait longer than I was able to wait. They provided me with a free rental in order to make it happen. They were great about making this doable and easy for me and it was. The rental was very nice, the job was done quicker than they anticipated and my pickup was simple. I always have a good experience at Hopkins Honda and this was no exception.

Service Center Review -For whatever reason my Honda Fit passenger front and rear tires got nails in them. They were slowly loosing air and finally I had the time to get into Hopkins Honda - been going there since 2012 after I bought my Honda Fit.While I had my two front ones replaced about .. a year or more ago (at Hopkins Honda, they couldn't find tires for Honda Fits really, RIP Honda Fit in the US), this time they just recommended I get all new tires because it's just easier to have them all the same and aligned properly. Got a nice 100 dollar gift card for my next visit. Didn't know they had a promotion till after.. but for all its worth I have new tires. That could have been part of the reason they recommended all tires be replaced.They gave me a snazzy rental car while they did their tire work. Wow, how cars have changed since 2012!TL;DRHopkins Honda did great job as always - replaced all tires as they were having a promotion. Sad the Honda Fit won't be over here anymore. Gave me a nice rental car while mine was worked on.
