I was so thankful my body shop found them. I was able to run up to their KC location and pick up the part I needed to save on shipping costs. They were way behind-the part was supposed to be ready the Friday before, but even though I came the next Monday afternoon, it was still several hours before they could pull my part, which kept me from getting it back to my body shop before it closed for the day. So just plan ahead and assume they may be delayed in getting you your part. They are super nice and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone needing to save money by getting a salvaged part.

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL!!! I attempted to purchase a trunk lid from them, from out of state, because it was in matching color and was listed as being in "A" condition. I told them from the very beginning that I was interested in it specifically because it was matching color and that I did NOT want to have to repaint it. They told me it was in excellent condition. I then enlisted the help of a friend (who lives about 25 minutes from them) to go there for me, pick it up and bring it to me as she was visiting my state just days later. PERFECT...right??? WRONG!First, they told me they had to email me a "credit card authorization form". I was instructed to fill it out and send it right back. I told them, at that moment, that I didn't want the trunk lid to go anywhere (aka: be sold to anyone else) while they were waiting to receive the completed form from me. A female employee (Jody...spelling?) told me not to worry because she would make sure it was held for me until they received the form.Fast forward. After waiting TOO LONG to hear that it was removed and ready (wasn't actually ready because they had forgotten to remove the hinges!), they called to to tell me they had actually sold the trunk lid to a local body shop while they were waiting for the credit card authorization form to be returned, by me, to them. They basically told me, too bad so sad...so I asked to speak with a manager. The manager was good enough to call that body shop and ask if they cared about the color...they didn't. So...the body shop was then sold a red trunk lid and the one I wanted was offered to me again. Yay...progress! Of course, I accepted...and then arranged for my friend to take time out of her busy day to drive there and pick it up. Before she left for Midway Auto Parts, I called one more time to verify that it was in A condition and did NOT require repainting. The employee (Merlin) said he'd walk out and look at it to verify in person, then call me back. 20 minutes later, he called and said it was excellent and did not need repainting. PERFECT...right??? WRONG.An hour later, my friend called to let me know she was there, looking at the trunk lid, and that it was very scratched/gouged. She then sent me pictures and yep, it was BAD...needed to be repainted. A LOT of scratches. YAY...exactly what I did NOT want!!! Midway then offered me a whopping $70 if I would take it, anyway...even though a quality repaint costs me about $350 and I would have to strip all accessories off of it, then reassemble it after repainting. This was already an $800 trunk lid, mind you, so it was on its way to becoming an $1100 trunk lid (they are $450 through the Honda dealer but on national backorder so overly capitalistic salvage yards are PRICE GOUGING...thanks, Covid, ya' friggin' jerk). Anyway...like any other sane person, I refused to accept $70 off and asked for a refund. I also spoke with the same manager there, to communicate my negative experience, and it was clear he filed it under "D" for "Don't care!".I received my refund, fortunately, but will NEVER buy so much as a light bulb from Midway Auto Parts, Kansas City location. They communicate poorly, charge too much (especially when they know a part is in short supply and high demand) and misrepresent their product quality. Bad news all around...unprofessionalism abounds there! BEWARE!!!UPDATE: response to Midway's response to my review. What I wrote above is EXACTLY what occurred. It was/is not "my version" vs "the truth". I didn't flavor it. It is was happened...period.

I purchased a used bumper fir for 330 something dollars. They said it would be some scratches on it. But it was missing some parts . And I had to jimmy rig it in some places in order to mount it on my vehicle. It looked like whoever took it off did not care, how it was going to the costumer. Bad service. I don’t recommend letting them take off parts for you to purchase.

The staff are well informed and polite. They reached out to me to verify certain things, and I really appreciated that. Unfortunately, they gave me the wrong product, which was actually a bit of a big deal because they're quite out of my way to go back to trade it for the correct one, then I had to go back to the tire shop to have the product installed (again). But when I did go back to Midway Auto Parts, they promptly switched out the product without any guff, which I was sincerely grateful for.

Typical salvage yard, if you have ever been exposed to such, you will feel right at home, both the good and the bad. They do seem to have their stuff together and service was ok, the product was fairly graded.

They didn't even try to listen to me or understand what part iwas looking for. Maybe I don't know how their site operates, but it looked too me that they had several cars that matched the car I was needing a part off of, but the man I spoke with said immediately they didn't have the part, before I was even finished with my sentence.Hate to say it, but maybe if I was a guy I would have been treated with a little more respect, or perhaps not, who knows.

Wait times have become absolutely absurd and the team is not helpful. We have waited multiple times for hours above the time they promise. They've lost parts and the experience has gone from what was very positive to now being negative. I will have to start buying parts elsewhere
