The fine men at this establishment helped fix a $4000 worth of damage on my vehicle for an affordable $2200. They are super fast and did an amazing job! They even rewired and fixed my burnt lighting situation on my headlamp which had caught fire!

Pretty rude over the phone. I told them what happened and I could hear the eyes rolling over the phone. Told them what I was looking for and they told me the only way to help was to have my vehicle towed there. No thanks

Came here for a jack kit for my 2017 Italian Fiat 124. The dude I spoke with, Tyler, was VERY helpful and put a lot together for me. Showed me how to use it and everything. His attitude was eager and efficient. Was quoted for $100 for a jack kit at another salvage yard but these guys gave me a much better price. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. From what I can tell they had a diverse yard of American, Japanese and other nationalities for cars.

Needed an extremely rare part. Had given up hope after looking for it every where. Didn't want to buy OEM as that was very expensive. Then I get a call from Larry stating he found one, asked for $500 deposit which I gave and he promised to have part in 2 days. After paying I checked reviews and got worried after reading some bad reviews. However come 2 days later and Larry fulfills his promise, he also included a part that was not agreed upon which would have been another $200 had I needed to buy it. Thanks for saving the day!!

Abraham knew his stock well and took me straight to the closest fit for the part I needed and gave me some tips for its installation. They charged a reasonable price at the counter up front and were very friendly. Would visit again

Avoid going here at all cost. The owner was rude and disrespectful. He tried to rip me off when I went in for a driveshaft for my 03 tundra. It was rusted and dented and he quoted me $350 then he proceeded to mock me in his drive way. I told him he just lost my business and he replied "I don't care we have a lot of business" so be careful going here, I recommend boycotting this place.

Not only did they have all the parts I wanted (new window) but they were able to spend half the day fitting and fixing everything! I will definitely use them again for their super fast same-day results and friendly service. I even appreciate the little-details like remembering my name and communication throughout the mechanic/fix development. Ideal instant one-stop-shop solution to parts and labour.

They tried to get me to fix my car at a ridiculous price ($3K+). He kept changing the price (upwards of course). When I refused, they charged me an extra $100 for a 'diagnostic fee' even though I did not ask for the car to be checked out. I felt completely ripped off.

Larry and his son were beyond helpful with what I needed (spare tire). Larry sized it on the spot, and within 10 minutes, I was on my way with my new spare. I would definitely recommend coming here for any repairs and / or parts that you need.

I went to the business yesterday 4/12/22 and expected a bad experience based on these reviews that are 50/50 both good and bad but had a good experience i walked in and the son greated us, took us out back so his worker could bring me around to the vehicles i needed from, i found my rear suspension donor subframe, went up front got a fair quote from the owner-dad and left a deposit with my number. He called me a few hours later and helped us load it with his forklift. The negative reviews on here are likely people who didnt themselves know what they wanted or needed and have remorse over that. Ill be going back and i suggest you give this family run business a shot. -Jeff

One of very few junkyard in this area, that actually has parts to sell, but very pricey! Their price for used car part is almost as high as car dealership! Maybe like %12 cheaper, which is unfortunately not worth it! Better to go with dealerships! In my case dealer price $200 for brand new one, this place price $175 for used one!

Absolutely great service! They had the one part and engine that no one else had, gave me a fair price and saved me 150 bucks. Even prepped the part for me before I got there. Would absolutely recommend this family business if you are looking for used parts.

I am so grateful that I found them. I have been searching for headrests for my mom’s 1992 Acura for a month. He told me to bring in the car and he would help me. Within 20 minutes I had my parts. Thank you very much. I should have started here first.

a deposit on parts here is like gambling. Totally rude, both Tyler and his father. They told me the part I wanted was "insurance grade" so I put a $200 deposit down, drove 45 minutes to get there. The part was scratched and dinged with wet touch-up paint, the plastic parts attached were smashed and no longer connected fully, not even close to the description over the phone. I said I don't want it at which point they tried to guilt and shame me by saying "I knew you really weren't interested" over and over. Don't go to this place! I recommend not putting a deposit down anywhere unless they can give you close up quality pictures of the part first!

Please share!!! Northridge Auto Wrecking is horrible!! Boycott!!! They charged me $180 the fix my passenger side window. It wasn't even a motor problem. It was some wires that needed to be replaced. A week and a half later the window stops working again. I asked them to please fix it again but please don't charge me for redoing your work. Larry says he has to see what the issue is. I told him I don't have the money to fix it again and told him that if the job was done right the first time, I shouldn't even be here. The owner was in the room and got in my face and told me to "Shut my mouth." He had his fist clinched and was ready to hit me. I asked him "Why are you getting in my face?" He then replied with "Because your saying we ripped people off!! " He told me to get the he'll off his property. After arguing for about five minutes we didn't got anywhere. And then acts like he's calling the police. As I'm leaving he comes out and says if I change my attitude to come back and he'll fix it. I told him he was unprofessional and that I would never come back there again.. I never once raised my voice. I was completely professional and this man treated my like garbage. Please never go here for anything and share this post so people know what con artist these people are!!! Don't even buy parts from them they don't deserve your money!!!

This business ripped me off! If I could give zero stars I would. My car was in for a window repair. I asked, since the car was already there, if they could replace the spark plugs for me. I knew it needed to be done, and I know spark plugs cost about $20. Even with labor, it shouldn't be that much. Then Larry (one of the owners) calls me the next day to tell me my car is ready to be picked up and that I owe over $600! He did a list of repairs without estimate, consent, or authorization. It was all the money I had in the bank to go and pick up my car. When I got there he didn't even have a receipt or invoice of what was done. He expected me to lay down the money and happily drive away. I stood there and waited while he wrote out an invoice by hand (they don't use computer systems for their records). And he didn't understand why I was upset. He thought I was a satisfied customer! I told him I hope I never see him again. But I have no way to get that money back, or to even know if the repairs were done correctly (or at all), without hiring a lawyer and/or mechanic and spending even more money. What a nightmare! This company will rip you off, and you would be wise to take your car anywhere else.

This place is great, there are nice people here. The thing is, that they are dealing with different backgrounds from Los Angeles and that can always be a challenge!! (putting it mildly.) I have gone here a few times, and they always fix my problem. The only thing is that I wish I could afford to fix a Mini, which was a poor choice in the beginning. Mini Coopers always have problems. Not anyone's fault. Larry helped me when I knew it would be more expensive elsewhere. I always came out fixing what I should have fixed even when I was not ready to fix it. Lol. Overall, the place always fixed the problem right, unlike other shops that give me the runaround and tell me that it's fixed and I have to bring it back over and over for the same problem. (Flash Auto in Winnetka will give your car a funeral sooner than later.) I am grateful for what Larry and his dad has done as far as repairs. Thank you Northridge Auto Wrecking.

They have a decent selection of cars to pick parts from, but will actively try to screw you if you don't know the price of the part you are looking to buy. They wanted $75 for a part that costs $30 new from the dealership. Talked them down to $20. Last I checked they weren't looking to buy any more wrecked cars.

Tyler is very rude and unprofessional after hanging up on me because he couldn't confirm whether he had the right part and was trying to have me pay half of what it cost without even being able to tell me if it's the right one. You wonder how a place like this can continue to do business with employees like that. avoid Tyler at all costs do not deal with him conduct your business with somebody else.

Make this place your 1st Call WOW - 2nd time for a big list of "To Dos." I'm driving to Wisconsin and returning, so I know these professionals will start with the most important, and my cosmetic looks are 2nd. I know my Cadillac Escalade will make the 2100 mile trip & return in good condition. The mechanics are concerned for your safety and are there to make sure you are safe. They listen to what you need and help prioritize what needs fixing. They did a great job fixing my Cadillac, and I will be returning for when I want to do the he remaining cosmetic items. They try to get to know you and treat you as a priority.

Family owned and operated since established in the 1950s. Honest, reliable and trustworthy. Have found obscure parts at reasonable cost for my vehicles since 1971. They are capable of making repairs for all makes and models as well.

I enjoyed a high level of professionalism and quick turnaround on a replacement door for my 92Ford Club wagon E-350, a softball shattered the window in last side door. Thank you, Larry, at Northridge Auto Wrecking offers quality and value added timely service for a reasonable price.

Had a terrible experience at the dealer, usual story, didn't really diagnose the problem, just wanted to charge top dollar for a bunch of new parts and a ton of labor. Sometimes it's worth it to bite the bullet and just have the dealer take care of it but they were asking way too much. I'd had previous experience with Northridge Auto Wrecking on an old Dakota I used to drive and they kept that thing running way beyond its shelf life without charging an arm and a leg. So I figured I'd take the car to them and see what they could do. As I hoped, they actually diagnosed the problem and addressed it directly with high quality repurposed parts, the problem was fixed at a fraction of the cost. They even went above and beyond and addressed an additional problem I was hoping would be fixed but didn't mention. Larry and his crew are dependable and have more than enough experience to handle whatever you throw at them. It would be nice if they updated their operation to computers with full invoices and backlogs but if that's the only benefit to paying 2 to 3 times as much at a dealer or other mechanic I'll stick with Northridge Auto Wrecking.
