I am grateful to have a metal recycler as close and convenient as otsego auto crushers the process is always simple and painless and the cash is in hand the second you get off the scales and sign your slip just be cautious when letting them remove the scrap with the crane my tailgate latch did suffer some damage

Trucker Review - fantastic, quick, curtious people , plenty of room. Picked up a load of batteries In/Out in under an hour and the batteries were very well secured to the pallets. Good loading as well (even weight distribution) Thumbs up!

I brought 117 pound cast iron sink and a few other things to be recycled. They didn’t tell me that the sink was too little for them to pay the cast iron price....when I looked at the receipt the next morning and called, they could care less. I think they should tell people upfront....this metal was for charity, so yes, every amount mattered....and to pay out 1/4 of what it was worth is dishonest....think twice before you do business with people who cheat their customers every moment of every day......they couldn’t be bothered to even say they were sorry for any misunderstanding etc....do yourself a favor, go anywhere else!

Staff needs to be trained better. Junked a car today and when we tried to bring in the converter separately the guy told us $15 we junked the same converter not to long ago and got $30 the guy then tried to say if we would have left it on the car we would have gotten $40 which made absolutely no sense because, if we would have left it on the car we wouldn't have gotten anything for it. We asked the lady at the front desk she said the price of converters hasnt changed at all. Needless to say we left with the converter no way were they screwing us out of money for it. UPDATE: went back to the crushers today(7/30/19) I tool back rims and a battery along with the converter yet again to see what they said. I spoke with the same guy and this time he put it under low grade and we got $40 meanwhile last week he tried to tell us it was a foil converter which was only $15. Obviously this employee likes to try and rip people off for some apparent reason. Its pretty funny how after just a few days all of a sudden this converter went from foil to low grade I should have waited another week and maybe it would have been premium!

The customer service representative was very rude over the phone, try not lose your cool with her because she really seems like the type of woman to push it. He attitude was so unnecessary and yet I still received one.
