Long time customer of this busy yard. Strange experience there today. Total clown show in lower parking lot. Large woman employee, manager? walking the parking lot in circles while shouting into a bullhorn. Loudly chastising drivers for parking where she felt they shouldn't have. Most of what she was yelling was garbled coming out of the bullhorn, and few in the lot to hear her anyway. A good example of a poor way to handle a problem. The parking lot stripes are worn and hard to see, a few traffic cones would keep customers out of the areas that were annoying her. Maybe the lot could be striped in the spring when things dry out. Too much crazy for me, I left.

There was a black lady who was in charge, I don’t know if she’s a manager on 11/29. she was very rude to one of the old man (Customer). Yes the customer may be rude because he waited for half an hour (I don’t blame him), but mind yall his very old. This manager (not sure if she’s a manager) was very rude, making hateful comment toward this old white man. She suppose to say something just to calm him down and explain to the old man the situations that going on. If you know it was very busy, why you sent two people on lunch break while you guys have a very long line. This black lady (manager) has a very bad customer service. She was going on and on and never stop. I don’t know if she’s been showing off or something because there’s a lot of people. But she don’t know, everybody was shocked of the attitude she threw toward this old man. VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL 🤦🏽‍♀️ act like a manager girl

So I went to get a used brake master cylinder and spent an hour pulling it off when I went to purchase this master cylinder they said it was 41.99 which is almost double the price of the one I found at AutoZone for 24.99 where did they get their prices from and why would I pay more for a used part when I get a remanufactured one with a warranty at AutoZone this is mind-boggling I'm done shopping there because this is not the first time this has happened...Buyer Beware..!!!

Was looking for a very specific part, and the worker Nate took time out of his day to help a fellow car enthusiast and look for the part, they didnt end up having it, but Nate saved me over 100 miles of driving. I've gone to pick and pull many times. And from now on, this will be my first choice. Really appreciate you, Nate.

I have been going to pick and pull for years I love everything about them I don't know if this is new or not it's the first time though the staff was able to provide me the location of certain vehicles I was looking for very helpful only reason why i am giving them 4 instead of 5 stars is that their prices from some items are actually the same if not more expensive than brand new parts that I have found online one example being passenger side windows.

Paid us almost $500 for our very tired 1997 BMW 328I w/ well over 260,000 miles. Its ugly, had dents faded or no clearcoat at all in spots, leaky sunroof that stopped woo= super squishy suspension, and all the miscellaneous broken interior parts

If you’re trying to sell your car and have gotten w married since you purchased your last car be prepared to give a copy of your marriage license over or they will give your car back. And instead of anyone vetting this information they’ll move forward with things and then ask once the deal is done. No other options were allowed either to verify what was needed. I have other forms of ID with my previous name but only the marriage certificate was going to be accepted. Since the car was loaded and things appeared to be done running around attempting to find something last minute was stressful. Of course I found a copy without 20 mins of them leaving. I’ll be going with some where else now having had 2 hours of my time wasted today.

Not worth coming here on a weekend, I've never understood why they don't have more staff working the counter on weekends. There's only one cashier checking people in.. and a line of 20+ people just to get in. They will overcharge you for things too. Just want to add that the level of rudeness I've received (from a guy who seems like the manager) is absolutely ridiculous. Cannot at all recommend coming to this location. This is the only location I've gotten such garbage service from on so many occasions. Certain regular employees are great though. For context: I had a family emergency recently and had to leave in a hurry without buying anything (common occurrence with part availability). Of course on this day, a managerial looking employee in a vest followed me out of the store, yelling at me in the parking lot while I'm clearly on the phone... He continued to accuse me of stealing after I quickly explained why I was in a hurry, and couldn't go back in for them to search my cluttered tool bag for minutes despite not even doing that on the way in, and being there for maybe 10min total. He even loosely threatened me with "karma" over a totally empty accusation. That is frankly some not-so-smart behavior here in Tacoma. If y'all seriously want to search everyone that comes in/out (without buying things), then you need to hire more employees, because that just doesn't happen. I'm not waiting in the super long check out line just for that.

I got stuck waiting 15 minutes in line just to have the lady at the front let somebody cut me in line and tell me to get in a whole mother line the moment I got to the front of hers. Ridiculous!

Long way away from where I live but it had what I was looking for. Turns out a mirror for a 96 Ford escort is very hard to find. But this place had it thankfully. Lots of people so a good place to find things and lots of cars for what your looking for.

They close at 6pm, so if you work a full time job, you will not ever have time to get to parts from their yard. And even if you did find time to get there, they charge as much, sometimes more than the cost of a new part from Walmart, amazon, or oriellys.

I arrived here at 5:15 pm, website states that they are open until 6. The lady at the counter pretty much yelled at me for only having 15 min to get my parts, after i had already drove an hour in traffic just to make it on time. She asked if i had $3, like she expected me not to, told me she was going to check my bag, ok idc go ahead. Told me to sign the waiver, but didn't bother telling me that i have to look at the camera while signing it, so she made me do it again. 2 women at the counter checked my bag when entering, by sone miracle i was able to find the parts i needed, a spare tire, and a tail light cover. Not wuth any help from them because they sent me in the complete opposite direction, with only minutes to find my parts. $56 they wanted for a used spare tire and a tail light cover. These cars are 20 years old i need the parts for!! I wouldn't recommend this pkace to my worst enemy!! Then she got all crazy trying to check my bag again. I told her she is mean and she exaggerating told me to have a great day! I will! I feel like she was racist against me from the min i walked in the door, treating me life a child and yelling at me for only having 15 min when i actually thought i had 45. Very rude and disrespectful, and she said sge is the manager, I've never seen a manager treat a paying customer that way! She needs to learn a little bit about customer service!

Nice yard, well organized, friendly staff, which is pretty much the same as all the other locations. After all, it's a giant corporation, so all the yards are pretty much the same. But seriously, parking sucks. Spend a few bucks and at least put some lines in the parking lot

Had scheduled for pickup a week ago everything was good to go for 2/14. The driver was supposed to arrive between 12-4pm I called just before 1pm to inquire on arrival as I had an appointment to go to, I was assured there was going to be pick up today. 3pm came I called, (missing my appointment) inquiring again on drivers arrival. It was not until 4:17pm that the driver calls asking several questions and says I need additional paperwork. Pick n pull says if the driver arrives and if no one is present for pick up, that the previous agreed upon price will be lessen what about situations like this? When Pick n Pull doesn't arrive at all, do we get more than the previous agreed upon price? Thanks for a wasting my time and day that I won't get back. Outstanding service

Terrible business. Charge a free just to go in. Employees are rude white trash, and they overcharge for all of their parts/ lie about the prices up front. Don't recommend. Alot of strung out meth/heroine junkies hanging out in the yard and out front too.

I had a deal in place with a reference number and an over the phone agreement to sell my truck for $336 but when I towed my truck there they said they couldn't find that price in the notes and would only give me $236 knowing I had to accept it. They even read the text but said since she couldn't find the note she wouldn't honor it. Terrible business from these scam artists.

I dedicate this to a Staff member named Summer. My time at Pick-N-Pull was an amazing experience. Not only was the Staff incredible by helping me return things but they were also they were diligent and hard working to go above and beyond helping a customer, so my overall review is THE HIGHEST rating a customer can give and the whole time they were thoughtful, helpful and kept a positive attitude, which will make me a client for life.... SUPERIOR customer service and a quality staff... Great job Pick-N-Pull for hiring a qualified staff that not only made this memorable but made me want to recommend you to my vast network of people. Thank you and MANY Blessings to you all...

Will update if I have another experience, probably not. There is an admission fee to see if the part is out there. They close earlier than stated on website. Their inventory records suck, they have no clue what's on the cars, so you have to pay to look, and they didn't even have the car they said they had in stock. I've never had to pay an entrance fee at another junk yard. Would recommend somewhere else if you have the option.

Best service from Bob!!! it’s called pick n pull for a reason Legally they can’t help you in the yard and they explain this very clearly… I came thinking it would be easier than it was to get a window out of a car the same make and model. They had a couple to choose from, which I didn’t expect… the best part of my experience was not being told to “go ask one of the other customers in the lot for help”, which I was told by an employee would be easy … but it was this employee named Bob who was working the front desk when I came back in for the second time. He gave me step by step instructions and did everything he could to help me with feeling confident in doing it on my own! He is an incredible asset to anyone coming in here with questions and was a major blessing sent to me… for how frustrated I was originally. Having your car window broken out sucks but meeting people like Bob made the whole weekend not as bad. His experience is worth his weight in gold plus some. I hope his pay reflects his worth! If you need parts I would recommend you check out this space! There are a lot of cars and again BOB ! I am leaving feeling confident in installing this window now too!

I thought the prices were kind of high, but I really liked the employees. But their little "thrift shop" (2 little shelves with miscellaneous items on it) gave me a good deal. I will go back. Their rewards program is interesting. 1 point per dollar spent (not including money spent on taxes or environmental fees), and once you get 350 points, you get a $20 gift certificate. Pretty cool if you shop there alot.

As mechanics we noticed this place is a touch overpriced but we got the parts we needed and they were in great condition. We found what we needed on eBay for almost half the price but we needed them immediately. And it’s nice the way the grounds were organized and it was super easy to locate the vehicle we needed for parts.
