Good yard. Prices seem reasonable, though an environmental fee that doesn’t really mane sense is applied. Wasn’t too busy when we went on a Saturday morning, around 10AM. They have wagons you can use to take parts from the car to checkout, and they let us take the cart out to our car and bring it back in. It would be nice if you could check in on your own device rather than wait in line. Great selection. Vending machines by the door in case the day goes on longer than you thought it would and get thirsty.

The staff on the phone was very helpful in getting my wrecked vehicle taken care of. Even better was Mack at store. I had to go back to get copies of documents for insurance purposes. Mack was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to get me what I needed. This is my official vote that Mack be given a raise.

Pick pull has become Trash and Trash. Why?- Customer Service is 2/10. They answer the phone. Thats it. Do not expect any help beyond that. EXPENSIVE entry fee. I ended up buying new off Amazon. Go somewhere else if you value your time and resources.

Entry fee raised to $3 Parts are usually overpriced, sometimes more than they would cost new. No cash refunds-store credit only. Facilities not the best, poor organization, long wait times to get in and check out. Often out of wheel barrows to use. Go to Tear-a-Part instead-better in every way.

First time heavy set Mexican man was ruder than rude to me I paid the three dollars to get in only to turn and walk out 2 nd time two days later I brought my mechanic and a person with glasses longer hair changed my NEVER WANT TO GO THERE too bragging to family members back home how awesome of a place this was. That person who helped me (us) did not only greet me with a smile but made sure my parts were marked for return that person gave me something to talk about as I had to golf after!!!! Thank you I forgot your name but I’ll be sure to look for you when I go back!!! Yall choose to be in customer service so BE NICE AND MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS NO MATTER HOW THEY DRESSED (golf attire, skirt, bikini, suit, heels) make us feel WELCOMED

$3 to enter. $2.75 "environmental fee" on all purchases. Was told ac tubes are $9 when I came in, upon departure I was informed that what they consider an ac hose for $9 is just a piece of rubber tubing? (Bizarre) And in fact all of their ac hoses with metal on them are $25 per line. Just a little bit more communication and I wouldn't be writing a review. The yard is poorly organized and there were no small wheelbarrows available.

Now that Pull-N-Save no longer does half price Wednesdays, this yard has the best prices in Salt Lake. Row52 inventory integration makes it incredibly easy to check if they have what I need. I really like that they post their upcoming vehicles for the week in the lobby. Their facilities are usually the cleanest, and they provide hand washing sinks (why the other yards don't do this is bizarre). Vehicles are placed on stands made from welded wheels, standard practice, very stable, makes getting parts from under the vehicle painless. However, nearly every single wheel has been pulled from the yard, there is absolutely nothing to use to stand on to access an engine compartment from the top. God help you if you need a part from a truck that requires top down access like a cylinder head and aren't 8 feet tall, you just aren't going to get it. It regularly takes 20 minutes to check in or out. None of the other yards have the endemic staffing issues this place does, with always at least 3 people working registers rather than one person pulling triple duty with check in and check out and parts interchange. Update Sept 2020: Staffing issues still not addressed, once again took over ten minutes to check out despite being the only person in line to pay because cashier was pulling triple duty with answering phones, parts interchange, check-in and check out. Needed to pull several engines, out of nine possible donor vehicles seven had their engines pulled out, flipped upside down, and smashed across the hood of the car destroying anything of value inside the engine compartment. Why even bother running a you-pull if you're just going to destroy everything before placing it in the yard? Crush the cars and don't waste anyone's time. Asked and was told it's how they remove cats. This is a recent change, you didn't used to do this. I've been to parts yards across the country, no other yard does this. You need a new foreman or general manager. It's unlikely I'll be back, there are plenty of other parts yards in Salt Lake that aren't run like a complete clown show.

Used to love this yard. Entry fee has increased. Paid almost new prices for a side mirror and fog lamp. Disappointed to say the least

Environmental fees and core charges doubled the price of the parts. Of course I didn't find out until after I spent two hours in the rain getting parts. Brand new parts are cheaper online.

Update: ask how much is your part before you take it out, there is a guy with a bunch of piercings trying to charge you too much for these parts, you are better off going to a place where they already have the part out. placed. The advantage of this place is the location, and the entry cost. However they need the work the process to get in and out. They either need to improve the automated system or add more employees, Every time I go there is line and the people there are not enough for the demand

Been coming here for years and it's unfortunate how much they are price gouging now. 2 years ago it used to be 1 dollar per person to enter. 3 months ago it was 2 dollars and they were charging "environmental fees" and now it's 3 dollars a person! You'd think for increasing their prices so much, maybe the service and selection has gotten better? That's a joke, it takes almost an hour to check out with your part sometimes, there is one person doing the work of 4 people, and there will be 2 or 3 other workers just standing around talking not helping at all. Used to have good part pricing as well, but now it's pretty ridiculous. Went to find a MAP sensor for a Hyundai sonata and they legitimately wanted 15 dollars more for it than a new one, what a joke.

Forget about getting in and out quickly! It 45 minutes to finally pay entrance fee and get to looking for parts! Lines to register are unmarked so you don't even know what that line is! I figured the line to sign in and pay would be the first register you came to. Wrong! You pay at the far end of the counter! Very frustrating! Very understaffed! I've been going here for many years but not for several years. It has changed for the worse. I will repost if things improve.

I would give it a negative 1 star if I could. I barely get there with my brother and 8 yr old son and one work told me politely that my son couldn't go in the yard that he could wait for me and my brother on some chairs and a table but I told him I wasn't going to leave him alone that we would wait for my brother and go to the gas station he said that was fine. So I was getting the 3 dollars out of my purse so my bro could pay to get in and another female worker older Hispanic lady started telling and yelling at me about my son I was trying to tell her what I was doing but she just kept raising her voice and repeating herself. Me and my son and bro Just left. Go to another junkyard for ur parts if I was you!!! Never going back there again

The yard was organized well. The pricing was insane. 50 bucks for a 24 year old blower motor. Bought a new one online for 30.

Price increase terrible! They have tripled the prices on several items I like to buy. This is the reason the place was less busy on a Saturday with mild weather. Yes the auctions have increased priced, but this yard is gouging hard. They need to find a more fair balance. I am not coming back.

Used to be good but the price gouging is absolutely out of control, especially in a yard where you are finding and pulling your own parts. Going to the junkyard used to be fun.

Only costs a dollar to get in. There are thousands of cars and trucks to remove parts from. There are even some cars for sale. Most look like "fixer-uppers" but some look like they aren't too bad. The prices for parts are not too bad. I got 4 small parts for less than $20.

They call and text you the same message none stop, even if you respond they will still text the same text every few hours. I have been trying the do an unattended pick up for a month and they keep saying they can’t find my car even tho it’s right there and I’ve given a description of where exactly it is. I’m so annoyed and losing my patience (: and every time they don’t find my car I don’t get a call until after they leave and make me reschedule for the next week.

Absolute rip off, you can get all parts cheaper new and online. Understaffed, you’ll wait in line an hour to check out. Do not go here, there are plenty of other car lots that do honest business, this place is not one of them.

The place changes management more than I can keep up, but they have ALWAYS had the happiest crew, largest selection, cleanest most organized yard and lowest prices in the Valley. Great place to practice your repair skills before fixing your own ride, as well. If you need auto glass... Best Price Auto Glass share the same parking lot.

Everything about this experience showed me pick-n-pull has no care in the world to keep customers and I will never work with them again. I scheduled a pickup for my 1996 Lexus SC400 which has had an accident to the rear quarter panel. from the very beginning the person I was speaking on the phone with was horrible. She was constantly asking the same questions over and over again regarding the state of the vehicle and didn’t seem to know what she was talking about 90% of the time. The soonest they were available to pick it up was 10 days out. And the information she gave me was that they would arrive sometime in between 8-4. I confirmed this several times with the person on the phone that day and she explained that I have no control over what time they are going to come in that time frame and NEVER mentioned that anyone would call my phone number. Although this was frustrating I took off work for the ENTIRE DAY and had the car ready in the driveway at 8AM and I waited on the couch by my front door. I had received a call I didn’t see at around 10:30 AM and I called it back at 11:30 AM this was from the driver. That call went straight to voicemail. I had every reason to believe they would still show up so I continued to wait. When 2:00 came around I tried to call the driver again and he didn’t answer again. So at that point I called the customer service line and the lady on the phone explained to me that when I missed that phone call it meant that they were “not able to get a hold of me” and moved on putting my scheduled appointment in the trash basically. I expressed my frustration and she just explained that there’s “nothing I can do” I HAD ZERO INFORMATION and missing one phone call meant that they can’t pick up the car for another 10 DAYS! I spent forever getting this car ready for them and having it around for another 10 days that I wasn’t anticipating just isn’t going to work. I told them they could have the car for free and that I just need it gone but they still just told me there’s nothing they can do. The fact that they gave me an 8 hour time frame and 1 missed phone call meant that I have nowhere for this car to go is the most frustrating thing. If I could give them zero stars I absolutely would this was a horrible experience.

Poor customer service, called them 3 times in a Row an I got hung up on everytime they just picked up the phone I could hear talking in the background an then click. I get that they get super busy but it takes literally 2 seconds to say "Hold one moment" after an hour of trying to get ahold of them finally someone answered and was super rude and arrogant about me asking for a part price like i had just made them go out of there way to do the job they are getting paid for. If they got their website fixed then I wouldn't need to call in but their website hasn't been working for months.

This was the single worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I was waiting by the door and by the phone. I missed the one call and called back within minutes but I was told that the appointment was canceled. I was told that it was because I didn’t answer the phone. I had someone here. The driver never came by. I responded right away and called back within minutes of the missed call. If you’re going to make an appointment then honor that appointment. They canceled without cause and I waited all morning. Worst service ever. Don’t use this service. It’s a complete waste of your time.

Pretty professional, not filled with fowl mouth speaking and it's clean. Not what I believe most people, especially ladies, would have preconceived it to be. As a younger female, I know that being in Testosterone filled places can be a tad intimidating but I assure you that EVERYONE is treated FAIR and equally. I received assistance with locating the vehicle and part quickly. THANKS YLL

They need to figure out how to get people through the check-in process faster. Everytime I go, there are 10-20 people waiting to pay $2 to get in. That and I'll go back a month or 2 later and they'll only have a few rows of new cars.
