Staff was more concerned about being mask cops and less concerned about offering any kind of knowledgeable service. I was looking for a fender for my 2014 car. Pic N Pulls website told me there's a 2015 version on their lot. Even though Google and multiple other junkyards confirm that anything 14-18 is compatible, the staff insisted that only 2014 cars have compatible parts. Then, they told me that the 2015 car had been removed from their lot. I was skeptical and went out to check myself and, lo-and-behold, the car was right there. Lesson learned: Go off the website for info, not the staff. All the staff are good at is harassing customers about masks

Now that Pull-N-Save no longer does half price Wednesdays, this yard has the best prices in Salt Lake. Row52 inventory integration makes it incredibly easy to check if they have what I need. I really like that they post their upcoming vehicles for the week in the lobby. Their facilities are usually the cleanest, and they provide hand washing sinks (why the other yards don't do this is bizarre).Vehicles are placed on stands made from welded wheels, standard practice, very stable, makes getting parts from under the vehicle painless. However, nearly every single wheel has been pulled from the yard, there is absolutely nothing to use to stand on to access an engine compartment from the top. God help you if you need a part from a truck that requires top down access like a cylinder head and aren't 8 feet tall, you just aren't going to get it.It regularly takes 20 minutes to check in or out. None of the other yards have the endemic staffing issues this place does, with always at least 3 people working registers rather than one person pulling triple duty with check in and check out and parts interchange.Update Sept 2020: Staffing issues still not addressed, once again took over ten minutes to check out despite being the only person in line to pay because cashier was pulling triple duty with answering phones, parts interchange, check-in and check out. Needed to pull several engines, out of nine possible donor vehicles seven had their engines pulled out, flipped upside down, and smashed across the hood of the car destroying anything of value inside the engine compartment. Why even bother running a you-pull if you're just going to destroy everything before placing it in the yard? Crush the cars and don't waste anyone's time. Asked and was told it's how they remove cats. This is a recent change, you didn't used to do this. I've been to parts yards across the country, no other yard does this. You need a new foreman or general manager. It's unlikely I'll be back, there are plenty of other parts yards in Salt Lake that aren't run like a complete clown show.

Showed up at 4:28 not knowing they close at 4:30 but listed to close at 5 on google. It is very easy to edit google business hour. I understand businesses have winter hours or holiday hours or whatever. As a business owner myself the girl was very unprofessional, all I wanted to do was simply pull the dipstick on a transmission and smell the fluid and come back the next day to do the work. She wouldn’t even let me do that, even though their checkout line was long and very slow as it always is that didn’t matter. Probably won’t be back.

It’s the only place in Utah I’ve been in the past 6 months that still forces you to wear a mask to get in. That’s not even the worst part. Every other junkyard I’ve been to has cars at least organized by make and some by model, this one just tries to get types together like sedan or suv but they even fail at that and there’s random types mixed in everywhere. No map either to figure out where you’re going and the staff just stands around and won’t help at all to get in. Cars are mostly stripped of anything you need if you can find the right car. Terrible experience overall and I’ve been twice. It’s a national chain junkyard so they’re just in it for a quick profit. Pic a part in Orem and Ogden are much better.

The advantage of this place is the location, and the entry cost. However they need the work the process to get in and out, a more automated system it more employees, Everytime ignite there is line and the people there are not enough for the demand

They make you go buy a mask and then they tell you they only have one wheel barrow to carry your parts and that someone is already using it. Also they don’t really give you a refund it’s only in store credit. Never seen such a sorry excuse for a business.

Most expensive salvage yard and for some reason 3 rows of cars were on the ground and one of the rows had the car I needed. I put in a request for one of the cars to be lifted using a dinky little slip they gave me..I come back later this week and it’s still on the ground.Plus they’re ridiculous about masks

Got denied entry because I wasnt wearing a mask inside the building. Its a junkyard! You're worried about covid at a freaking junkyard? If be more worried about the mice droppings in vehicles or cutting ones self on a piece of metal and getting tetanus. Get real! Very rude staff as well and expensive prices.

Staff demanded I wear a mask… OUTSIDE. You’re kidding right? Aside from that nonsense, the whole scrapyard is unbelievably disorganized. Every other scrapyard I’ve been to at least has euro cars with other euro cars, fords with other fords.. subarus with other subarus etc. you can’t find anything in here. Was looking for a part for my VW GTI, and had to spend 30 minutes attempting to find a euro section. Big surprise, there isn’t one. Scrapyards are inherently dirty, but this one goes beyond that.Too lazy don’t want to read?Staff demands you wear a mask even outside. Nothing is organized, so good luck finding anything. It’s quite literally pure luck to stumble upon the vehicle you’re looking for.
