Ample parking, friendly staff & good selection. This is my first choice if I need a hard to find car part. I needed a washer reservoir. The car was picked clean, but it had the part I needed. I found a few parts I didn't need, but could use (upgrades). Tell Shane (manager) that Mike sent you. He might give you a discount. 🤔🤨😉

I had a pleasant experience here. I had never been to a junk yard before but I was happy they have every car logged. I typed in the car I was looking to poach parts from and they printed out a list of cars and their according rows. I wish they posted more map signs showing where you were in the yard along with the rows since it’s such a large yard to navigate just based on the list.

Start here. Things are organized and the inventory stays pretty fresh, so it's not picked over. When you get into the building, just use the touchscreen to enter part search criteria, and you'll get a printout of both the exact and possible crosses they have on the lot, including the color and what row each car is on. Friendly, helpful staff. Good value. THANKS, VERONICA!!!

Dear Pull-A-Part Team, I am writing to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Robert W and Mr. Shane B from your Winston-Salem location. Their exceptional assistance and kindness have had a profound impact on my life, and I am forever grateful. As a veteran struggling with PTSD, everyday tasks can be overwhelming. For a while, I was without a safe and reliable vehicle, making it difficult for me to attend my VA medical appointments and perform daily tasks. The stress and anxiety of not having a trustworthy vehicle were taking a toll on my mental health. That's when I visited Pull-A-Part, and Rob W and Shane went above and beyond to help me find the car parts I needed. Their expertise, patience, and kindness were a beacon of hope during a challenging time. Thanks to their help, I now have a safe and secure vehicle, which has brought me immense peace of mind. I am no longer worried about my transportation, and I can focus on my mental health and well-being. I want to extend special thanks to Mr. Robert W for his exceptional service and dedication to helping veterans like myself. His efforts have made a significant difference in my life, and I appreciate everything he has done for me. Please pass along my gratitude to Mr. Robert W and Mr. Shane B for their outstanding service. Pull-A-Part's commitment to supporting veterans is truly commendable, and I feel fortunate to have experienced it firsthand. Thank you again for all that you do. Sincerely, Timothy E. Brown, Retired US Air Force Disabled Veteran

Been to the pull a part place 3 times now in the past 3 months and so far it’s been amazing. Thankfully so far i’ve been lucky getting the parts I need and pricing is great! Definitely recommend coming if you need a part that you are okay with being used and are on a small budget!

Easy to walk in and start looking, plenty of space to move around, helpful and friendly staff, very reasonable price on the part I bought. I felt safe there. One of the managers, Rob, walked out to my own car with me so that I could make sure of fitment before I purchased the part.

This location is well maintained and clean. No debris or trash scattered about the parking lot or in the yard. Employees dont appear to be under the influence of any chemicals. Online inventory was very accurate for us. Our first visit to this Pull-A-Part was positive and well worth the road trip.

Gravel yard Online pictures suck (one per vehicle) Prices suck worse. LKQ is cheaper. Don't dislike the yard, only the prices really I've been here more than once. Nothing negative

Very friendly and helpful employees. I like how organized things are. An added bonus is the ability to look up inventory using their website. It would be great if there was a Pull an Part app to make things even easier!

Went there on Friday December 27th looking for a transmission. I did find one I thought would fit my vehicle and paid to have someone there remove it. Unfortunately overnight I discovered the transmission would not fit my vehicle so I went the next morning. They did give me my money back. Thank you Veronica and your manager for helping me

Leaving a 5 star however - how are you gonna have a building with no AC. I have come here a few times and it makes it really draining to be outside in the heat to come inside and it be just as hot in there. Those poor employees - no escape from the heat. Otherwise I have never had a bad experience with the employees. Last time I was there Tyson was super helpful, and was very kind too. They all looked like they needed some AC though. Y'all need to fix that. I would've left a 4.5 but google doesn't do the star ratings like that. Your employees are the reason I gave it a 5 star, and the reason I keep coming back. Thank you Tyson & the gang!

Nice clean organized yard friendly staff but the parts are overpriced you're better off going on Facebook marketplace. they are only charging you a few dollars cheaper than retail for brand new.

I was in Winston Salem at a nearby hospital while my elderly mother was having surgery. The surgery went well and a good friend of my mom's drove her back to our property in Virginia. They were driving my mom’s paid for 2021 TRD Off Road Toyota 4Runner. I had traded vehicles with my daughter. She owns a BMW e90 328i and I have quite a few restored cars plus a BMW e60 550i. So, browsing an automobile recycling center can pay off well for me. For example I found a piece of dashboard trim for my 1995 Impala SS last Monday locally here in Raleigh. I go to LKQ because that’s my only option. Pull-a-Part in Winston Salem is twice the size, organized and clean. You can even rent a golf car. The prices here were much more reasonable than I’m used to. It’s $2 to enter the yard and LKQ charges $3. I’m on a fixed income so these dollars matter. The staff I dealt with were gregarious unlike what I’m used to dealing with. Vicky and Veronica gave me a hard time for being “that guy” that security had to kick out at closing time. I just lost track of time looking at the retired Crown Vic Interceptors. I’ll definitely take a little side trip here on my next visit to my property in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I may even rent a golf car. Thank you all at Pull-a-Part Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Love pull your own parts yards. I can spend hours here. I believe the prices have gone up a little but I usually can get 80% of what I'm looking for.

First time experience went perfectly for me. Lower prices than LKQ back home in Charlotte (for example a window master switch for my 2003 protege was only 16 bucks here, but almost 45 at LKQ in Charlotte). Rob and the rest of the staff here did great. Would shop here again for sure.

Had a good experience prices are definitely higher than other junk yards. Alana was so very helpful and knowledgeable about my needs and questions she's a great employee for there company. I wanted to buy an oil cooler they wanted 30 with tax so I went to 67 motors got same one for 15 dollars out the door never get tires dis.ounted there they ruin them. Half the stuff (parts) I took off were so high I put them in there black cart for myself its not worth the drive but again good people there except the one who voices his opinion that parts need to be priced higher even after they told me a price very unprofessional.. there was one young man there that seen I was out of breath and he pushed my wheel barrow to my truck thx to him and Alana the checkout cashier.

Went here to get 2 used tires, had to go find them on the yard since there wasn't any our size on the rack. Found 2 and the guy messed up the tires taking them off. Had to go find 2 more and he did the same thing. They tried telling us we had to pay the 5$ dismount fee per tire he messed up but I said that wasn't going to happen. This used to be a good place to go but the past 3 times we've went, there's been an issue. Everyone has attitudes and hates having to work

Usually have good experiences here so I went back to buy 2 used tires. Found the ones I wanted, rolled the wheels to back of the building for dismount. Took them 30 minutes but I got the tires back. The bead on BOTH tires was damaged, rubber missing from where the guy, "rich" didn't take the air out before he broke the bead. I was told I need to go find 2 more, and that I would be charged for the dismount fee because I didn't want the tires anymore. After speaking to one finally, I Was told by a manager that I wouldn't be charged for the dismount seeing they were damaged. Even with this, I went back into the yard and found really nice Firestone tires with great tread. The same guy took those off the wheels with the same method, break the bead with the air still in it. Both tires had terrible damage to the bead area, and one bead was bent to to the point it would not seat on a rim and hold air. I told them to keep the tires and I'm not paying any dismount fees. I spent 3 hours total between finding, rolling to the building, and getting 2 sets of tires ruined back to back because of someone's negligence, and ignorance of basic tire removal method. I will not be going back for literally anything.

I went to Pull a Part in Winston Salem and purchased a vehicle. They had a friendly staff and excellent customer service. The car buying experience was great it wasn't a typical used car lot they took the time to show you the vehicle and let you know what or if anything was wrong with the vehicle. There was no haggle or pressure buying experience. The used car guy Rob Thomas was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. From start to finish it took about 30-40 minutes including paperwork. Store appearance look great. I would definitely recommend checking out pull a part if your looking for a used vehicle. Vehicle prices are reasonable and I would consider buying another vehicle from them.

Had to get a discontinued part to repair a broken hood latch on an 07 Focus, and I must say the organization here was amazing! The staff here is terrific, they made sure we found a compatible part, pulled it for a reasonable fee and pricing was more than fair. Shout out to Tyson, Nicole and Chuck for all their help!!
