Just experienced my first trip to Recycling Industries in Yuba City today. No lines (I've spent 45 minutes waiting at a nearby transfer station), no smells, employees helped me through the entire process. Amazingly clean. Super convenient - with no traffic the drive from Recycling Industries to the Marysville transfer station is 15 minutes per google maps. Rates are comparable to Marysville transfer station. Locally owned.

Rolled into R I with 14 packed bags of plastic bottles. The signage was poor and once on the property it was total confusion about where to take your recycle materials. They have shopping carts that you can carry your plastic bottles into where their sorting machines are located. No one took the initiative to guide me through the process. The machine operator would not answer my questions. There was no way to verify that my items were being fairly weighed and counted. The operator was dropping bottles on the floor but expecting me to pick them up if I wanted them counted. When he was done weighing my bottles he pointed to the office. I was expecting to receive about $25.00 based on past experience but, but was given a receipt to sign and $13.00. When my wife questioned the guy about shorting us he just smiled and blew us off. My loss will be his loss too. I do not recommend this recycle yard to anyone that expects to be served fairly. What I witnessed was a recycle yard that had too many employees sitting on their butts doing nothing. Poor customer service was abundant. No one had a smile, and no one cared wether I was there or not. I will never take my bottles there again.

Well after a little confusing conversation a 40 minute trip to drop off some e-waste that I thought I was going to be paid for and then being told that I would have to pay them for receiving it they finally conceived that they miss communicated and would take it for free. It's hard to say who's telling the truth now days and whether someone is being nice or ripping you off but at least I was able to save the customer that I hauled it for some money in dump fees although they did have to pay a little more in hauling fees it all worked out. Git it writing still stands.

They are a great place to go. But I think the prices for recycled are lower. Which is too bad every thing is going up and there going down.

Be prepared for a long line on a Saturday. Waited over an hour. Always helpful team, so not a complaint. Just a recommendation to go another day if you can.
