DIRTBAGS. They short you on the weight, and then they short you on the unit price. Everyone knows what the market price for copper and aluminum is these days. They wait until you unload the pickup, weigh it all, and then give you 80 cents for copper - when the going rate is about $2.00 to $2.50 a pound [09-01-2024]. I had the time, i would have loaded back up and left. ZERO stars.

Very fair pricing when I told the owner, I was scrapping the metal for a charity. He reached in his pocket and threw me $40. He didn’t have to do that, but he did definitely do business with this company again.

They’re the only yard open on Saturdays but they pay 180% less than all the other scrap yards in the area. (Southern nh/ Massachusetts) Very organized property, but no one could tell me the yards pay out for light iron prior to weigh in. Scale man handed me an invoice then tells me there’s no cash, so after waiting 20 minutes Cadillac Jack pulls in the lot and gives me 84$ for a 230$ load and laughs. Thanks for the laughs jack I appreciate it.
