Terrible service, I called for a steering knuckle for a vehicle of mine. I was told I'd have to wait till Thursday. It's held on by 6 bolts and your talking Thursday. I can pull one at a u pull it in 20 Mins or less.

I was having a hard time finding a part for my vehicle. I called these shover's auto salvage up and Jim specifically was a HUGE help. I told him I would like the part by the weekend if possible and all week (bless his heart) this man was searching for what I needed in his network. He called me back on thursday and told me he found my part. I ended up finding it elsewhere in the meantime. I will definitely be using Shover's anytime I need something for my vehicles. Jim your customer service is SUPERB!!! And I am very appreciative of you!!

I needed a wheel in a hurry after pounding my front passenger tire into a curb (don't ask), and Shover's did a tremendous job getting the proper wheel for me. I called shortly after they opened, Jim told me he didn't have the wheel I needed on property, said he'd search his network for one and call me back. He called back less than 30 minutes later with the wheel ordered at a price I anticipated (each dealer he works with sets the price for orders) and paid for it over the phone. I picked it up five hours later at his shop after it was delivered. Great service. Many thanks, Shover's.

These guys were great to deal with. They new their stuff and were able to point out a couple of tricks to make our job easier. By the way, the parts were at a very good price. I will check with them first in the future.

The Owner "Jim" was very professional and helpful in locating my part I was searching for. He did not had the part but he made several phone calls to the other salvage yards. Once he located the part he dispatched his driver to get it. Same day he called me and left me a VM that my part has arrived and can be picked up during the normal business hour. I was very impressed by the caliber of customer service Jim had provided. Highly recommend this place to those who like to work on vehicles.

I rarely if ever leave a review. Called and the man who answered was huffing into the phone annoyed and frustrated from the moment he answered. I was looking For two different car parts and he rudely asked if I had gotten a price somewhere else and how soon I was looking to have the parts. I said no rush and no I had gotten no other price. After more annoyed huffing he definitely hung up on me on purpose. I was nothing but polite as a customer. Something is very wrong at this place. Don’t even bother calling them.

Trying to fix the dashlights on my truck. Replaced all the bulbs and no luck. Had to be the circuit board. So we went seaching and luckily found them. They are very knowledgable and worked to make sure they could get exactly the right part. Great help and advice. One of them showed us the right way to disconnect and reconnect. Couldn't be better.

ZERO STAR Plain and simple - RUDE owner (gussing as he said,"I have 80 acres of....) Called this yard trying to get some information on some parts. The person on the phone was bluntly RUDE. I am gussing,he may have been mad with someone else before he spoke with me and downloaded all that anger to me with utmost focus. NOT WORTH IT. UPDATE: I was not informed that they were closed for the day. Moreover, I didn't for the color of the car and anything of the sort. Yes, he did say that they were short staffed that day, thats all. I was rudled told to call back on Monday.

I was trying to find a bumper for an older Tundra. After exhausting every local salvage yard in the area, I called Shover's. I was assisted by Jim who claimed shovers was part of a network of 75 different salvage yards. Instead of me calling around to every individual salvage yard or searching their inventory online, Jim actually worked for me! He handled all the leg work and actually found an exact replacement for a part I was looking for. I paid for it and had it in my possession in TWO days at a reasonable price! I am very pleased with his service and the product. Thanks Jim. On another note, I have read these other one star posts and it is apparent to me that some people have no idea how salvage yards work or don't know what things cost. Shovers actually works for you to find your part at other salvage yards. No other salvage yard in this area is going to do that for you! Huge savings in time and money.

When trying to ask about a part for my car, I got a cold and unhelpful response. He inquired as to me finding a quote/estimate somewhere else (which I didn't really think mattered) but he stated that since he has acres full of car parts he wanted to make sure once he found the part that I would not waste the time/labor spent finding the product and proceed to buy it for the price he would offer me. (and if I don't like the price then i"m stuck with an angry owner whos wasted his time trying to help. do you see my conundrum?) So let me break down why you suck. 1. Don't make the gosh darn customer feel like a waste of time 2. I don't know how busy you get that you cant spend your time accurately helping potential customers, but next time try? 3. If you don't care to provide customers with extra help here and there in order to promote your customer service, I doubt you'll get anything better than 1 star reviews and a bad reputation. 4. DO NOT respond to customers over their reviews like how I've seen that you have done. ITS SO COMPLETY UNPROFFESIONAL to try reason why you're always right and the customer is wrong. 5. keep better track of your supplies/equipment, since when the gosh darn is it my fault that you don't have an easy way to access your inventory, it shouldn't be on me how much time you waste/spend looking for what I need. unless you're ordering it from somewhere else you should be able to get your products in line and ready to roll out even before the customer asks for it. That's all folks, have a great weekend everyone.

I called and asked to see if they could pick up a vehicle today, and the guy laughed at me. Then he condescendingly told me that "people should plan these things in advance." Due to his rudeness, I decided not to go into details and ended the conversation. Ironically, the next place I called forwarded me to a person that picked up the vehicle same-day; probably because I was giving it away for free (title & all). I didn't want money for it, I just wanted it gone. Shover's could've got a deal if they treated people appropriately on the phone.

Called them on the phone and gave the person a year range of my specific vehicle. Was meant with a very rude "I'm not going by that, give me your specific year", as if I have no knowledge of the vehicle I am working on. Same engine is used for my car between those years only thing that changes is trim parts but even those are interchangeable. I wouldn't be calling for parts if I had no idea what I'm talking about. Would have taken it to a garage if that wad the case.

I called and at first the gentleman was very nice. I then called back to confirm I was going to pick up the part and a woman answered. She was very rude because she thought I was the one calling 15 times in a row. I called once! Then when the guy was put back on the phone, he said forget it and hung up. Rudest people I have ever dealt with.

GO HERE FIRST!! went out of their way to help find an obscure part for very little profit, they know what they’re doing here, have a vast network of sources and the prices and service are excellent🔥
- KKaty Kreitzer
They did not have the part I was looking for, but the gentleman who answered the phone helped me to understand how the pricing system of used parts works, and that the replacement light I found online was a good price and most likely made overseas.

I had a hard time finding my part locally.Everyone was telling me to order a another part.I called this salvage yard and explained my situation and the owner was very patient with me and gave me the option to order the part which everyone in the area didn't have.He also asked more details of my issue and told me to come over to look at the part. When I arrived I didn't know what to expect but I noticed how it seemed like a friendly, family environment. They were very polite and helpful to the customers that were in the building.I was out in the woods and I'm a black guy from the city.I was wondering how they would treat me.I owner and staff greeted and treated me as if we did business for years. He also fixed my issue. He tested other components on the part and didn't charge me.I paid him for his services anyway. You don't find to many Genuine people like that in business. Most yards would've said just get another one.I highly recommend this business and they also do auto repair. This will be my first option moving forward when I need parts.

BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IN YEARS, PROFANITY, INSULTS, VULGAR REMARKS, AND I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND FINDING ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THEN SHOVER. I do believe that this company has a bias to men in general refusing to speak with me and only to my girlfriend when asked why such hostility I was responded to in a very negative manner and hung up on abruptly I only asked for tires a simple in sorry we don't have available would have worked for me. Once again NEVER will I be a customer to such ignorance again

I could not find a part needed for my Jeep. Though Katy didn’t have the part available, she spent several minutes researching it, to give me additional info that helped me find the part elsewhere. Thanks, Katy! Your assistance is much appreciated.

I called Shover's looking for a part and the guy who answered the phone was courteous. They didn't have what I needed but I can't say I had the same bad experience as others.
