These criminals sold me a defective leather seat . I didn’t even leave with the seat , they made me pay the. They went ahead and gave me a torn leather seat . Big guy came out and outrightly told me it’s as is but I didn’t even leave their yard yet . They are thieves! Don’t buy engines or trans from them . They will sell you a bad part and now you are out of money . I will never buy anything from them again !!!!

Southern Auto Salvage has GREATTTT customer service! I called two different times and spoke with 2 different people. Both efficient and knowledgeable! He searched the entire southern database to find my part! Ha. How helpful is that for service! Saved me time and $!!! I’m a single mom w/2 SUV’s. I’m grateful for the assistance.

I need a new hood and other parts for wrecked 2004 LS430. Other salvage yards that had the hood wanted $750 to $1K+, but I got it here for $500 with the grille. Plus I got the radiator, fans, condenser, air intake, engine cover, plastic covers and support bar for an additional $500. So I save a lot of money. Thanks Southern.

I wish I would have read the reviews prior to coming out here. They charge me for a part. I came to pick up the part notice it was the wrong part asked for the right part they stated they didn't have it in stock and that it would be an addition $300. I asked for a refund instead and was charged $100+ in restocking fee! Not only was it there fault but even on my refund ticket it showed what I asked for specifically. Mind you I never took the item off the property (it was a transmission). So they retained possession of the item the ENTIRE time! Yet still refuse to refund all of my money! DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!! THEY ARE THE WORST DON'T BELIEVE ME ? READ THE REVIEWS!!

In search for a transmission, I received an referral from a mechanic I trust. I bought the transmission from southern auto, picked it up, and delivered it to Statesboro where my daughter’s disabled car is located. After installing the transmission, the mechanic realized the transmission will not go into reverse. I was directed to Jay due to it is now a warranty issue, I was told…Jay eventually responded and later agreed to replace the defected transmission. Jay also stated he would have his guys take the good transmission to Statesboro. This was on Thursday, February 15… I received a call from Jay today, February 19, informing me that they tested the “good” transmission and determined it was “not good”. Then in the most disrespectful tone you could imagine, Jay tell me that they will not attempt to find another transmission and I could only receive my refund after they received their (damaged) transmission that I took to Statesboro. After reminding Jay of our conversation on Thursday and the need for a transmission (not $$) Jay tone and delivery became very abrasive/aggressive. Once I noticed I started matching his energy, I ask how do I file a formal complaint. Jay literally told me to find out on my own. So if anyone could assist me with the procedures /information on how to file a formal complaint with Southern auto, please advise. This score is solely based on Jay, the manager, poor customer service.

After a broken hitch left on the highway took out 2 of my wheels and tires. I needed to find 2 replacement wheels. New steel wheels were $200 a piece and my car isn't worth it. Called several salvage yards and Southern Auto save the day and me a lot of $$$$.

Did not have the right part. Accused us of giving them the wrong informations. We called for a rear window for a 2012 Silverado pick up they brought us a rear window for a Volvo. Then called my employee who was picking it up a stupid MFer.then charged us a 35% restocking fee for the incorrect window. Horrible customer service I will gladly pay full price for a new part then do business with them. Worst business I have ever experienced.

I made a phone call at 10:50 am and got Ray on the phone. He called me back in 5 minutes with correct part that I asked about. Ray went so far as to text pictures. He had my part waiting on when showed up. It was very smooth transaction. The price was more than fair and I got exactly what I drove for. I was home by 1:00pm. Great service.

My experience was completely professional and absolutely positive i looked everywhere for a beam axle for my Toyota sienna. These guys found it, the price of the part was absolutely perfect. The part fit great just like a new one Making me feel confident that I"ve always have a place now to get a part for my vehicles anytime I might need one with a great price and quality.

I'm the new office manager at an auto shop. I've called twice here. The first time, I did not catch the gentleman's name, but he was extremely helpful & such amazing manners. I was on the phone for hours & this person made me smile just by how nice he was. Come the following week (today), I've been calling all over & I came to their number on my list. Talk about amazing customer service! I caught the gentleman's name today. His is DNE. If they don't have the parts, they will help you. At least the first gentleman did. I haven't had the chance of buying from them YET! It's not because I want to but rather they do not have the parts I'm looking for. I know one of these days I will. Soon I hope! Thank you all for your service. Keep it up! Your manager should treat you all to lunch or dinner. :) Other body shops, mechanic shops & auto parts stores. Learn from these gentlemen. =)

They are a straight rip off. I'll never refer no one to them. I bought a transmission from them on a Friday, found a better deal on Saturday. I went back to them Monday and they said they would charge me 35% of my money for a re stocking fee. They told me I'd have to wait 8 to 10 days to get my part. If you don't already have it what's the re stocking fee for. They don't tell you there's a fee if you don't want the part until you don't want it.

I was going to consider buying a rear differential off these guys but the guy who's answered totally turned me off! First off he talks like he is on speed talks non stop, can't get a word in, second they want you to pre pay for them to take the part out of the vehicle before its even been pulled! Then they can't tell you exactly how long that will take why would I prepay for y'all to pull the part pull the part then I'll pay I could see a $50 pull fee but these people are crazy if they think I'm going to pre pay in full for a service . He tells me the gear ratio on the differential won't matter because the "truck only has two shocks"...that makes no sense maybe it wouldn't matter but it wouldn't be because of the shocks! But mainly due to the fact he talked over me and literally after I told him I would pay him cash he kept rambling on and then hung the phone up, that fast talking, over talking me, illogical business practice + these bad reviews cost him a sale and a customer I'll be damed if I spend my money with these folks .

Take advantage of women.. predatory. I was made to pay for a part without anyone asking or ensuring that I was purchasing the correct piece. What I bought was wrong. I took the piece back not more than 1 hour later and was told no refunds. Waste of $100 And they are Muslim and supposed to do right by women. Super disappointed

What makes the rating as 4 stars was how very helpful they were. I did not like the fact you can't use your credit card. It's cash or zelle and I don't trust zelle. There is very small area to park. Stock was good as well.

Called ahead to make sure they had the wheel I needed. Very friendly service from both people I spoke with (I called twice). Once I arrived, I was greeted with a friendly smile and helped immediately. I didn’t have to wait long for them to pull the part (5-7 minutes). The man put it in my car for me and I was on my way. Great price, quick service, customer oriented!

I drove over an hour for a ac compressor. They gave me the wrong part which was also overpriced. I went back the very next day and a woman named Wendy would not issue me a refund. Instead she wanted me to exchange the part. Their policy is that they can give a refund if they chose to. They weren't sure if it was the correct part initially, and I had to pay the mechanic for his time. The customer is supposed to be right, and since it was their era you would think they would have corrected it by taking their part back and giving me a refund. Instead she called the police on me and said I was being unruly because I demanded a refund. I didn't get loud, curse, or behave in any disrespectful manner. I wouldn't go to this unprofessional establishment if my life depended on it. They care strictly about the money, and could give a damn about customer satisfaction or customer service.

My experience was just terrible. They have a very bad customer service. I called them in the morning (around 11am) and asked them about a wheel for a 05 Kia Spectra. They told me they had it and that there was no need to place the order for you can simply go and pick up on the spot. I visited them at 2:20pm. Placed the order. Cashier was very rude. After I paid he told me I had to wait for 35 to 40 minutes. They brought my part at 4pm. I just don't understand why they didn't just let me place the order over the phone if they were going to have me wait for 1 HOUR AND A HALF! This is the perfect example of what you mustn't do in customer service

Called for a set of rear brake calipers shipped to me. The first person I spoke to sent me a credit card authorization form and told me to arrange shipping. When I called back to verify the price with tax, whoever answered told me they do not ship then hung up. Their waiting music on the phone even mentions how willing they are to accommodate your shipping needs. Bunch of lies!

Purchased the power door mirror and it was defected mirror. Tried to return it but they refused it because electric part are sold as is condition. Before I purchased this part, they told me to come at look at the part on the car and then they can remove the part from the car. So I went there to look at it but the part was already removed and they told me it was tested and it was good. When I put it on, it was not working as it should be. They keep telling me all sales are final and refuse to refund it.

Southern Auto Salvage where do I begin!! I recently moved to Georgia & the unthinkable happens the head gaskets on my engine blew out. A friend of a friend recommended SAS for the needed parts as well as the installation. Initially I was like on edge but after calling and receiving courteous customer service from Wendy I decided to move forward with purchasing my engine as well as them doing the the labor. Of course I called every other day😩 and every time I called Ms. Wendy was very understandable while providing updates on my vehicle. After it wasn’t ready on the scheduled day I received a courtesy call from Jay the manager who was also very nice and professional informing me of what was going on. I git mt baby back and she’s riding beautifully😊😊😊 While driving home from work my check engine light came on. I called first thing the following morning and once again greeted by Wendy who instructed me to come back to the facility. Upon arriving the technician immediately checked my vehicle and resolved the issue within five minutes. Needless to say if you’re looking for reliable parts. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE & reasonable labor costs for your vehicle SOUTHERN AUTO SALVAGE is definitely the place to go!!! This Business Is Very DISHONEST and will sale you BROKEN PARTS. Five months ago I paid for a transmission to be delivered to AAMCO. The 1st transmission had a missing part, this company refused to take the transmission back and give me a refund. However they offered to replace the transmission. The 2nd Transmission had a broken part and could not fit properly. Once again they refused to refund my money and will only replace the transmission. At this point the lack of communication with Jay & Daylon is showing their incompetence or deliberately ignoring my emails/calls. Nonetheless, when I actually spoke to someone they were very unprofessional and talked to my husband CRAZY! AAAMCO is charging us for storage and labor fees, every time the original transmission is removed or reinserted. As of today ... I am still being refused a refund!!! The 3rd transmission is broken and will NOT shift gears. I just move to Georgia and this has been a trouble experience. Southern Auto Salvage does NOT care. Dealing with this company has cost me more money, than what I paid for the part alone. Now I have to contact a Lawyer, the Better Business Bureau, and all Local News Station... just to received customer service.

Don't trust these guys. They will promise you days and wouldn't fulfill their commitment. Also they gave me a wrong part and when I went to return it, they were rude and would charge me extra for their own fault and would push me to exchange for a cheaper part for the same price of original price. They are a big scam, liars and cheat. Go somewhere else.
