We were getting the run around at our local dealership so we called Stokes. They got us an appointment the next day. When we arrived they were very friendly and helpful. Explained everything that they were going to do and did it in a timely manner. I can honestly say that was the best experience I have had at a service department. Even though we had to drive 50 miles, it was worth it. I still cannot belive how prompt they were. The other dealership told us they couldn't run diagnostics on our car for 5 to 7 business days and Stokes performed it on the day of our appointment. I'm extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism they gave us. I'm so thankful they were able to help us. The check engine light came on and the car kept sputtering and would just shut off while driving it. We have 2 small boys and I was afraid to drive the vehicle with them in it. Stokes helped put my fears at ease. Words cannot express how grateful I am to you guys.

This has nothing to do with the delay in getting the car fixed since that was a logistics issue on my end. This has to do with the fact that the service personnel don't really pay attention and don't want to take responsibility.The first time I took the car in to get a new transmission, I had to take it back because they forgot to connect a cable. They had also done some spotty repairs using cables or cords and claimed it was from vehicle being towed to the facility.When I picked the car up last week to finish up on the transmission issue, the check engine light was on. When it was mentioned, the service advisor I was working with said that wasn't what the vehicle was brought in for. Yet on the paperwork from the previous visit, it clearly mentioned the check engine light.I chose Stokes because it seemed easier to go to them than to have to go to Hoover or Hwy 280. You'll do better if you do go to Hoover or Hwy 280.

Our experience at Stokes has always been very pleasant. This is our second vehicle we purchased from Stokes and our salesperson was Lance Foushee each time. Thank you Lance for being so helpful to us. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Service department needs integrity… Years ago I had an alternator replacement that sounded high I called 2 other Chevrolet dealerships and they both quoted a price $300 less. Gave them another chance last week..Shon said they would price match a written quote … $500 more isn’t price matching.. claims it need more parts to fix the heat/AC (the only thing being done) I confirmed with the previous quote and they said the parts weren’t needed.In short … Do Not trust the service department.

Gil, our salesman was awesome. The purchase was easy and he was professional. The cleanliness of our used car was way below par. There were crumbs in the door compartments, dirt, crumbs in and around cup holders, dust, dirty leather seats. It only took 30 minutes and $40 to clean it myself when I got it home, but it could've been done right by them. Disappointing that they'd let a vehicle look like that when it left their lot.
