To recycle clean, dry plastics of all sorts in Taos and Questa see repurposingplastictaos.com. They charge a small fee but it's easy, cheap and drop-off is centrally located.

I believe in recycling, but whats with the new worker there, Luis Garcia harassing every person the goes there. Telling them how and where to dump your stuff. That's why they have signs. The last two times I've gone he comes and starts telling me about where and how to get rid of my stuff even though I have been going for years. Next time I may just go to the dump. I love recycling but that doesn't work for me.

Pathetic. For a town that considers itself to be *SO* forward thinking, it is absolutely pathetic that you can’t recycle plastics and you cannot rely on them to be open.The city is treating this as a source of income rather than an investment in the future of the environment.Even Albuquerque and smaller towns such as Los Lunas have better recycling programs than this. There is literally no good excuse. It’s just pure greed and laziness.

I can’t believe they do not accept plastic anymore. Why have recyclable plastic if you can’t recycle it. Shame on you!

The hours that they are open are terrible. Only two days a week for a few hours. And they only accept cardboard and aluminum. Worst recycling center EVER.

I put recycled look good for boxes, glass, papers, and others; but some hard parking get in or out not easy. Watch out some floor tiny glass and dirty.

Its an absolute disgrace what this place has become. Open 2 days a week and doesn't accept glass or plastic.

They quit accepting glass and plastic.

THIS PLACE NO LONGER RECYCLES PLASTIC (ANY KIND) OR GLASS!
