I was on a weekend motorcycle camping trip to VT when my headlight burned out and I needed to get it repaired. I looked up nearby motorcycle shops and Vintage Steele came up as the closest and also very highly rated. I rode there and immediately Josh had me bring the bike into the garage. He noticed my headlight was out as a I had ridden up. They didn't have bulbs on hand but were expecting a delivery shortly. I hung out talking with him for about 30 minutes and when the bulbs arrived he changed it right away. I also had him check my rear tire which was pretty worn. He agreed it was worn but still safe to ride which made me feel a lot more confidence since I had 200 miles to ride to get home. Great service, great guys. Highly recommend

Josh and Chris are the best, most knowledgeable motorcycle guys out there. Vintage Steele is awesome. They sold me two vintage Hondas that I absolutely love. They really care about their customers, and about the bikes they repair and sell.Very reasonable rates, always have a great selection of bikes for newbies (like me) to start out on, and they're always ready to help out in a bind.

Josh was so helpful and nice, Beyond belief! My 2014 Harley was throwing a check engine light and an overheat red light!!! He was the closest shop. Josh dropped everything and helped us out. We were traveling through from out of state. Don't know how we would have made it without him and his timely repairs. He didn't have the Harley part but by-passed a system so we could get to the Harley dealer 70+ miles away with no worries. After all of that, Josh wasn't going to charge us to "not fix the bike" ( his words ). We made a minimal donation and were on the road. THANK YOU JOSHUA!!!!!

These guys are the best. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable all around good guys. They were always happy to help me with my '72 Suzuki and when they charged it was always super affordable. The bikes they build are drool worthy. I've seen them many time help someone who's broken down, go as far as to pick up the bike where it was stranded and get it running purely for the love of the ride. You can't go wrong, if they think your better suited going somewhere else, they'll tell you.

I have known the owner of Vintage Steele for a long time, and to witness the establishment and growth of this business has been an unspeakable pleasure over the years. I'm always impressed all over again each time I visit the shop. The quality and cleanliness of their custom builds speaks for itself. Photos are available online but you have to see and straddle one in person to get the full appreciation for their attention to detail. For general maintenance and repair, their hospitality, skill, communication, professionalism and follow through is at the top of the field. I fully intend to continue traveling over an hour to use them as my primary motorcycle shop.

Skilled, friendly, and reasonably priced. What more could you ask for?I had been working on a 1976 XS360 for a few months and my aspirations didn't quite match up with my skill level. It came to a point where I knew I needed some help to get my old bike where it should, and deserved, to be. Throughout the whole process, from the first e-mail to the pickup, Chris and Josh were polite, informative, and patient. Now my XS360 is running like a top, just in time for prime riding season!
