Work place is good the employees are very nice but the name that hired me, Jamie and his Boss Larry let me go after my first day. I was unloading bins and was asked to park the forklift back in the building, I did so and as I got out. I twisted my ankle on the uneven pavement. I reported the injury to Jamie, who controls injury’s. Showed him my ankle and how I was injured. He told me to go punch out and go home if I can’t stand and I complied since I couldn’t walk. I messaged him the same day with photos of my injury. He said “keep him posted and Ouch.” Later the next day I recieve a text that I’m no longer needed.” Very poor Management and I will be reporting unsafe work conditions to OSHA and will be looking in to False Termination due to Injury. I tried to be a good person but these people have no decency and do not care about their employees health and injuries! Photo proof is attached as well!

Worst scrap yard you can go to if you are unprepared. You can tell them you have RED BRASS, NOT YELLOW, but THEY DONT CARE. You can tell them you want to seperate your number 1 and 2 copper but will not allow it I will never come to these jews again

Be glad you don't live anywhere near this place! I'm 3 blocks away and it sounds like a bomb going off at least once a day. Most of the houses in this area were built long before this place was. Fires, propane tanks exploding, this place would be gone if this was Delafield or New Berlin!

Quick and professional. The guys on the machinery are great. Nick was very kind and answered all the questions we could come up with !

Not a bad place to take your scrap, but there's always a line at the scale. And the reason there is always a line at the scale is because the employees are all shooting the breeze with each other and walking around at a snails pace. Also, get the employee at the scale a computer with excel. It seemed like he did 10 calculation on his calculator for 2 metals - aluminum cans & steel.

Their truck driver had huge slabs of jagged sheet metal flying all over I 94 westbound at 3:25pm on 4/12/23. This truck was close to causing numerous accidents at 70mph because of what was flying out of the top of his truck. Absolute disregard for anyone else’s safety. What a terrible reputation for this business to have. I have also reported to police.

They are stewing people on the drive on scales. I weighed the truck and trailer at a truck stop empty to see what it was and their scale added almost 3k pounds, so I got boned out of $340

I've never had an issue with the freight scale, but the guys at the bin/cart scale will screw you pretty bad. What can you do...

Horrible operators and horrible management. My driver drove off scale they instantly came around to lift the trailer back on to the scale without any sort of questions and lifted my brand new 40 foot right where the ramps go in crushing it and buckling my dove tail. I called to talk about it said their were mistakes made on both ends to see if they would meet me half way on some sort of repair the manager told me I need to teach my driver how to drive. If you go there don't let any of their idiots get near your equipment.

I have been going here for years now and they are always in a hurry to get you unloaded and get you on your way. (In a good way) but today I took my son and after i unhooked and parked where they asked i quickly got him out of his car seat to watch. (2 year old) the man in the Machine with the big claw waved at my son and took the car off my trailer. Then smashed it in front of us so we could see. (Was amazing for my son and I also enjoyed it) then put the car onto the pile and spun back around to wave and we gave him the biggest thumbs up! So thank you!

Came by on a Saturday to recycle my old grill. I didn't want any money, simply to drop it off. Drove by at 11:30pm and they gates were closed with people standing in line. I understand you close at noon, but come on.

I was in and out within 15 min.. I was greeted by a friendly staff member before I even got inside. And after almost being robbed and dismissed by Miller Recycling, Waukesha Iron & Metal was a breath of fresh air. I will NEVER go anywhere else! Highly recommended.

They gave me over three times what the scrap place in my town gives. Showed me how to separate my materials to get the most money. I will definitely go back. Hopefully today.

Dropped off an ancient water heater at Waukesha Iron & Metal after learning that curbside pickup would have cost me $30. Was pleasantly surprised to be paid $5 in scrap value.
