    Worst company EVER!!! Almost one week and my can is still sitting by the curb. They have picked up all of my neighbors cans but not mine. I cannot call the local location to ask them to come out and get it, because all calls go to their main office out east, and I get stuck on hold forever, and then they do absolutely NOTHING! I detest this company.

    Used WM for years and although their pricing seems competitive, they very quickly charge much more for the the same service as time goes on. Their billing center is a mess and has over billed me multiple times and it takes many phone calls and wait time to get it resolved. Bad customer service. And oh yeah, when we moved out of the area they charged us an extra $75 to pick up their own barrels. Never will I use WM again.Service: House & garage cleanouts

    This has been the worst experienceI have had with any company in the area. The service I use is two 6 yard dumpsters dumped once a week for a smaller apartment building.I have been battling Waste Management ever since they took over Nordic Waste (an old local provider). Constant overfills that are not over fills. I receive the picture from WM proving it’s not an overfill and after 20-40 minutes on the phone I get a refund for that occurrence. This happened almost every month and sometimes several times each month. I moved to twice a week pickup, same result. A few times the lid was not closed all the way and was charged an overfill (the dumpster was almost empty). 20-30 minutes on the phone and it’s refunded.I decided to pull the plug and go with another company. After several months of trying to cancel the service they responded after the contract auto renewed and are now charging over $5000 to break it.I would not recommend this service. Once you sign up it is very difficult and expensive to correct the mistake of using them.

    HORRIBLE customer service!! Called about canceling service and was hung up twice while on hold so had to start all over again. Doesn't sound like a big deal? It is when you're holding for 20 minutes. The third attempt I was on hold for 20 minutes before someone answered and then put me on hold again before getting hung up on again after a 10 minute wait. So I called back and hit "1" for adding a service, and guess what...they answered within a minute. I canceled with the customer service person who answered. This company is in the right service - TRASH.

    My pickup was missed. My neighbors got theirs picked up. Tried calling to leave message, and the automated system hung up on me twice. Is there a way to leave less than one star?It turns out, our service was cancelled due to non payment, but we are getting the $170 credit to our account back. We COULD have been reinstated for $40 that would have been taken off of our credit. Hey Waste Management, when you want to get serious about customer service, let me know. I'll make WM a respectable company here in the twin ports. We all know you need the help! Until then, FIRED!

    I have had nothing but problems with Waste Management in Duluth MN. Our recycling was not picked up yet AGAIN! This is has been the 5th or 6th time this has happened. Every time this happens, the call center informs me that the driver put in the system that he has PICKED it up! Um no! Every time! I have been told that they will get out right away to pick it up and it usually takes another day! Also, our garbage can has fallen in the back of the garbage truck twice now, and it took a week to get a replaceable one, oh and I had to call 3 times to get that replaceable can. I have even talked to two different supervisors about these issues. I have also had to go down to the main office and find someone to help me get a replaceable can that took a week to get!!! So here we are again with a recycling can FULL of recycling that was not picked up! Oh but our neighbors was picked up. How nice. Terrible service.

    The customer service was poor at best. (I could explain all that it includes however after approximately 5 calls and hours of dissatisfaction there is no need) I have never rated a company til now but this experience as been beyond frustrating. Furthermore their email system was no better. I do wish that our Village would have just stayed with Eagle Waste.Service: Junk removal

    Don't pick up garbage as scheduled, I had an over balance on my bill over 100.00 never got a refund when I switched to a local garbage company. I checked my bill online says 00 balance but I never received my refund. Criminals for sure! I don't blame the drivers because WM took over my garbage service and looks like they took on more then they could handle. I had an over balance with My old garbage company when they took over and had to fight like hell to get that back. I try to stay ahead on my bills in case of an emergency but I don't feel they have a right to keep my over balance.

    Twice in one month, they forgot to pick up. After calling them to reschedule. Both times, they told me it would be picked up within two hours. Both times it took over 48 hours for them to even try. I was even told by a call center rep that the route manager rescheduled my pickup (After they had to reschedule because their driver missed it), but I was never notified. Even when I told them I was fed up with their incompetence and inconsistency and that I wanted to cancel service, they just accepted it like they were used to it. No effort to keep my business. Sorry WM. You were right by me in Minneapolis, but here in Duluth, your garbage service is garbage. I’ll be taking my business to Hartel’s.

    We, like apparently many, have had missed pickups where the driver claims the can wasn't out.... we put it out the night before.Today, however, I went out and found my recycle can on top of a 5 foot plus snowbank!!! Not only was this irritating, it was dangerous. It could have conked me on the head or fallen on a passing car....I live on a busy street!I called asked for someone I could send a picture to.... sent it, no reply. I asked that it be reported to the routing department and again received no call or email.Came home tonight and found the trash can sitting just outside our driveway.... in the street!Like many, if I could give thumbs down, I would.So.....no one called me last Thursday or Friday. I had asked to be contacted via E-mail....none received. Called again on Monday only to be told that messages were left on my home phone....No, no they weren't. Nor did my caller ID provide any numbers from Waste Management. Drove down to their office today but doors were locked. Very disappointed.Yesterday when I called I was given and reference # indicating that my issue was being expedited and that I should hear from someone yesterday or today. No such thing happened. Called again today to cancel my service and to get my final bill. Seriously, they could not give me a final statement. I have to wait a week and then call back to get my final bill! I told them not to bother charging me for Jan. due to the issues but I bet that will not be the case!Very poor customer service. If I could give a minus star review, I would.Update: I finally received a call from a gentleman. He apologized for the incident, for no one getting to me and for him not hearing about this issue until today. So, clearly no one had been contacting me and leaving me messages as their records showed. Too little, too late, have found a different service.Now to deal with the billing!
