    WM bought out NAWS with no prior warning to NAWS customers. Once I realized this I had to call WM to cancel service with them. I assumed WM would honor the agreements made between NAWS and their customers; however when trying to cancel they informed me that the 3 months of service I had just payed is non-refundable and they were going to charge me $75 for a cancelation/ can pick up fee, something that was not in NAWS service agreement. They could not or would not answer the legality of holding unwilling customers to a service contract they did not agree to. After spending 30 min on the phone stating I wanted to cancel my service under the original terms I made with NAWS, they finally agreed to cancel my service, and keep my payments made toward the 2.5 months of service which they would no longer provide. All the while saying they were "working with me" by only taking half as much money from me that they could. I have filed a BBB complaint and will be filing other complaints to the AZ AG. I do not see how this is not fraud/theft. WM is becoming a monopoly in Flagstaff and should be stopped and should be held accountable for the way they scam customers.Service: Junk removal

    The one time I was late getting my trash container out I called WM to see if they would come back and pick my container up. Twice they garented that they and never did. They don't send out late payment notices. They just don't pick . And then they charge you a monster late fee. Today they did not pick up my container because it wasn't accessible. It in the same spot that I have been putting it for years. I watched the truck pick other's on my road this morning as I was going to work. There was NO REASON THAT THEY COULDN'T PICKUP MY CONTAINER THIS MORNING!! And they are the most expensive!! They are losing business in my neighborhood and soon they will be losing mine.

    I've been lied to by this company too many times. I called for them 2 WEEKS IN A ROW to come p/u 2 of the bins that I'm not and haven't used, the recycling bin has a wheel missing on it, but they are still charging me for all of them. One time I called they told me that they were p/u, well I know for sure They WEREN'T because they are STILL in front of my house. I have suffered 2 strokes and (#1), I don't need any EXTRA stress, (#2),I've got to make sure these bins are out there in the morning, . It's a poor excuse for a company.

    **Moved to 3 stars, from 1, marcus, customer service agent helped a lot****there response was not in response to this review, he just came through for me:Always terrible...it all stems from poor customary service reps. tried to go from 4 yeard to 6 yard bin monthly service--they accidently changed it to on damand and not monthly--i got stuck with my trash and then they tried to charge me to come get it, when it shold have just been picked up for a monthly service--they gave a $700 bill after an $800 bill...a joke, avod them!!!Service: Trash removal & disposal

    Do you like to pay ambiguous fees above and beyond what you were quoted?? Then this is the company for you!! First they charge you per can to rent it, which is fine, I guess, but I thought maybe I would get that money back at the end of my service. Nope. Every billing cycle my bill crept up, until I called and threatened to go with another company, which is honestly what I should have done. There are two people living at my house...we maybe needed trash service once a month, if that, but there was no option for every other week or once a month pickups. $161 for three pickups is absurd. Then, when I finally did cancel service, they told me I would have to pay $75 for them to come pick up my cans. You mean the cans I had already paid for previously? Yes, those cans. I did not get a bill for $75, I got a bill for $111, because they had to charge me $26 in fuel costs to come get said cans. Part of the “applicable fees” they didn’t tell me about. What a rip off, from start to finish. I will never use this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

    Took NW over nobody informed customer of this TransactionNever picked up our trash of course is it the customers faultI wanted to bring the trash and recycle Bin to their office lol what ever they call customer service rude like hell she can’t listen what you have to say , they send somebody to pick the trash bins up and charge $70 dollars but no refund for prepaid serviceWau

    Was not informed that my previous company was bought out. They have missed our pick up 3 times since the buy out. I think this is because they never bothered to switch out the cans. Totally unprofessional.

    I call waste management 1 to 2 times a month because they forget to pick up my trash. I stopped recycling because they would never pick it up. They have still billed me 2 times since canceling my recycling service. I’m a very dissatisfied customer. Services: House & garage cleanouts, Junk removal

    They refuse to answer a SIMPLE question because I don't have a customer ID. I live in a apartment complex, so I don't have a customer ID. No wonder this place has such bad reviews...

    buyer beware on Waste Management they are upfront on all their fees wait until you get the bill I had a fuel charge wasn't told about that up front. So I call to cancel and they have a $75.00 cancellation fee. I have never had this from any other company. So I cancelled told them to pick up the can were cancelling them with our company also.Service: Junk removal
