Called early for a tow on the side of the road and called me back within a few hours to tell me what was wrong. He already ordered the part and had it finished within that hour. Even checked for a warranty for the part. The price was incredibly fair and I have only respect for my first time interacting with this business. A rebuilt starter was installed in my Honda Pilot the day before I drove to Williamstown. The next day I was stranded in the athletic field parking lot of Williams College. Campus police recommended Ron's Auto Repair. I called Ron at 5:45am. By the sound of it, I woke him up. We chatted for 20mins. about my issue and cars in general. He towed the car before 9am when the parking lot was expected to fill up. $85 charge which I thought was very reasonable. The next day he swapped out my dead starter and I was off and running. Total charge for labor: $140 and change. Also very reasonable. Tipped $25 which I rarely do with mechanics. Expect you'll want to do the same.
